I've been a loyal customer to Manu diapers for my kids, but sometimes I find myself in a situation where I need to grab a pack from a nearby store. That's exactly what happened when I picked up Lamalove mini 3-6 kg diapers from Magnit.
When my little one weighed 3-4 kg and was around 50 cm tall, these diapers were huge and would leak. I set the pack aside for later, thinking they'd be suitable once she grew a bit.
As my daughter grew, and her weight reached around 5 kg with a height of 56 cm, these diapers fit perfectly. They were snug, didn't dig in anywhere, and had minimal leakage issues. Out of the entire pack, only a couple of diapers leaked.
However, when my daughter reached 59 cm tall and weighed around 6 kg, the diapers became too tight and started leaking again. I finished the pack and switched to Manu Comfort S, which fit better, even though they're not that different in size (designed for 4-8 kg).
Compared to other budget-friendly diapers from Magnit and Pyaterochka that I've used, Lamalove were the best and least leaky when they fit my daughter's size. But timing is everything – these diapers initially seemed too big and leaked, but then my daughter outgrew them, and they started leaking again.
When I compare them to budget-friendly diapers from Elibell, Nani, and Nishoomi that I used until my daughter was three months old, I'd give Lamalove and Elibell top spots. Nani's quality was inconsistent, while Nishoomi didn't impress me at all.
