Hello everyone, and welcome to my review!
I'm sure many of you who are lactose lovers will understand my struggle - giving up on these delicious and rich products is no easy feat! But I had to make a choice: either consume products with lactose or deal with antibiotics and awful acne. The decision was clear. I had to say goodbye to kefir, cottage cheese, condensed milk, melted cheese, and countless other goodies. Although, I do treat myself to the occasional forbidden treat, armed with Lactazyme to save the day!
Lactazyme for lactose intolerance, reviewTo put things into perspective, let me share my story. I've always been a huge fan of dairy products. They're amazing when we're talking about desserts - eclairs with condensed milk, cheesecakes, coffee with cream, cakes. And it's healthy when we're talking about kefir or yogurt...I didn't overindulge, and dairy never had a negative impact on my body. One day, after a vacation, when my child was a year old, I started breaking out in acne. The kind that's deep-seated and pus-filled. I saw dermatologists, took antibiotics. And that's almost 7 years of my life. It wasn't until a year ago that I finally figured out - lactose was the culprit. More on that in my review here.
Today, I want to share with you how you can still treat yourself a little, even with complete lactose intolerance...

Official Product Information

Lactase enzyme breaks down and enables the absorption of the carbohydrate disaccharide lactose from food. Lactase activity starts to decrease at the end of the first year of life, with the most intense process occurring over the first 3-5 years of life.
Additional intake of lactase enzyme allows you to eliminate bloating, discomfort in the intestines, and normalize bowel movements in case of a deficiency of the natural enzyme in the intestines.
And that's exactly what you need. If your body doesn't have the enzyme to absorb lactose, you can add it. The lactase enzyme will break down the lactose, and it won't become an enemy of your intestines.

Packaging

I've got a big pack of capsules, and it's well-designed. Each side of the cardboard box has information about the product. It's clear and concise, with the main points and expiration dates marked.
Lactazyme reviewInside, you'll find blister packs with capsules. Each one has the name and expiration date. There are a lot of capsules, and the pack is definitely a backup. I've got plenty to last me a while.

I've got to say, the packaging is pretty comprehensive. Besides the blister packs, you'll find an instruction manual and some other useful information.
Let me highlight a few key points:
xa0
Indications
LAKTASAR® is recommended for adults and children over 7 years old as a dietary supplement – an additional source of lactase enzyme.
Composition
Each capsule contains at least 3450 units of lactase enzyme;
excipients: maltodextrin, magnesium stearate, hard gelatin capsules
Organoleptic properties

The capsule is white, easy to open, and huge – I mean, it's enormous. The manufacturer suggests either spilling the powder out of it or swallowing it whole. I'm definitely not swallowing that big a capsule whole. I just pour the contents into my food or drink.
The powder is white and abundant. It has a sweet taste – it's actually pretty pleasant. For example, getting kids to take LAKTASAR is no problem at all. Just make sure to mix it well with their food.
Laktozar and lactose, reviewxa0
Usage and dosage
When taking milk or food containing milk, lactose, or lactose-containing carbohydrates, I take one capsule. You can swallow the capsule whole or open it and add the contents to your food or milk.

Our Family's Experience with Using Lactozar
xa0
I bought Lactozar for my seven-year-old son initially. We started by excluding milk and then, after analyzing our relationship with dairy, we had him tested and found out he's completely lactose intolerant. If he consumes dairy products, he doesn't show any symptoms, but pure milk immediately reveals itself.
My son doesn't have milk, neither regular nor lactose-free, with or without Lactozar. The capsule only helps when he consumes lactose-containing products like kefir, cottage cheese, or ice cream. It's impossible to completely avoid these products, especially since I know how to prevent issues.
xa0
I didn't immediately identify my own intolerance. I thought, 'I've always eaten dairy just fine.' I excluded milk, occasionally refused other dairy products, but later found out I'm also lactose intolerant, just like my son, and not only can't I drink milk, but I react to medications containing lactose.
I've given up dairy, but sometimes I really want it...so Lactozar's capsule and a small portion of my favorite cheese occasionally make it into my diet.
I sprinkle the capsule into my food, mix it in, and no more acne worries.
I don't drink milk and don't plan to even with the enzyme, five capsules wouldn't be enough for me.
Ice cream contains a lot of lactose, so I take a couple of capsules (one's not enough, I've learned through experience).
I've memorized the lactose content in various products and can sometimes allow myself not only hard cheese but also semi-hard cheese with Lactozar.
I cook at home, and processed foods are rare on my kitchen counter (they usually contain lactose), but when I go out to eat, I take some capsules as a precaution.
xa0
I have to admit, I wasn't a fan of the lactose-free milk either - it was a letdown for both me and my son. It's basically just like the other stuff, but with added enzymes, and I have no idea how much is in there. My gut didn't take a liking to it, that's for sure. And to be honest, the taste wasn't great either - it's way too sweet. But with Lactazyme, I can enjoy my favorite foods with lactose without the hassle.
xa0
Lactazyme has been a lifesaver for me - it's given me the freedom to enjoy my favorite foods again. And the best part is, it's so easy to use!
xa0
Great value for money - lots of capsules for a decent priceHelps my body digest lactose when I need itThe powder tastes a bit sweetBlends in easily with my foodxa0
I highly recommend giving it a try if you're struggling with lactose intolerance. Now I don't have to drool over the shelves in the store, because I know how to take care of myself when I'm craving something delicious.
