I'm a total lip balm junkie, and I know it sounds weird, but I just can't get enough of them. I've got a whole collection now, and I use them all, so I can never quite finish one completely.

I picked up the La Cri lip balm because it's safe for kids from 0 years old, which means I can slather it on my 2-year-old daughter's lips without worrying.

As a lip balm enthusiast, I've tried countless products, and I've got to say that La Cri is a decent addition to my collection. It's not a game-changer, but it's a reliable option for everyday use.

One of the things I like about La Cri is its mild scent. It's not overpowering, and it's suitable for kids, which is a big plus in my book. The texture is rich and waxy, kind of like petroleum jelly for your lips.

Applying the balm is easy, and it spreads smoothly, whether I'm using a thin layer or a thicker one. However, I find it easier to apply it with my finger, as the nozzle on the tube can be a bit tricky to control.

Once applied, the balm melts into a more oily and slightly runnier texture, which is pleasant on the lips. It leaves a noticeable glossy layer, but it's not too sticky - just very rich and oily.

One thing that's impressed me is how long this lip balm lasts. I've been using it on and off for months, and it's still going strong. Of course, if I apply it more liberally, the usage rate will be higher.

I've had no issues with allergic reactions or any other side effects, and my kids have also taken to it without any problems.

However, I do have to admit that La Cri isn't a miracle worker. It's more of a surface-level moisturizer, and it won't do much to help with dry, chapped lips with visible flaking or cracking.

When I applied it as a lip mask overnight, it didn't quite deliver the goods when my skin was in crisis mode. That's why I originally bought this product - to help my older kid, whose lips are always cracking. It might help prevent future issues if you apply it regularly, but if you've got seriously problematic lips, it's not going to do much to fix them.

It takes a while to absorb, and it does a decent job of protecting my lips for a few hours before getting eaten away by my skin.

Overall, I'd say La Cri is a decent lip balm for everyday use, but don't expect miracles. It's good for kids, and it's suitable for dry or problem lips, but it's not a game-changer.
