Last time was in Rostov-on-Don. I was craving some food and this mall's food court was pretty limited. I knew Kroshka-kartoshka, so we decided to give it a shot.
What's this fast food all about?The foundation of their cuisine is roasted potatoes, halved and topped with oil and cheese. You can also add a side dish of your choice, which they'll place on top of the potato. They've got plenty of options - mushroom, ham, crab sticks, or cheese. You've got a lot to choose from.
They also have different types of roasted mash.
There are other simple dishes beyond the roasted potato. You've got sandwiches, sausage in a bun, buns. You can also grab a coffee, tea, or fruit drink.
You pay, and then you wait.
They prep your order quickly.
Our order was ready in about 7-8 minutes.

They're fluffy, not super tasty, just normal. It's like the potatoes from Magnit. Not like grandma's from the village. But overall, it's okay.

The sandwich was big, hot, and well-packaged, but not very tasty. It was extremely dry, with extremely little filling, and the bread was hard to chew, like old rye bread with a crust.

It filled my hunger a bit, but I wasn't satisfied.
I wasn't very full. The potato sticks were small. They looked big at first, but when you eat them, you're left with about 60% of the mass. I was full, my husband seemed to get up from the table with a slight feeling of hunger. It was tasty, but that's about it.
