cancelCons
- I wish they came in a few more color options – the ones they have are nice, but I'd love some more variety.
- The curlers can be a bit tricky to remove, especially if you have super fine or delicate hair.
- I've noticed that they can leave some minor creases in my hair, but it's not a deal-breaker for me.
- They're not the most durable curlers I've ever used – I've had to replace a few already.
- The packaging could be a bit more eco-friendly – I'd love to see some sustainable options in the future.

Specifications
Hello lovely readers!
I'm not gonna repeat the whole 'straight hair vs curly hair' thing, but I have to say, I love both. If I had to choose, I'd go for straight hair.
I've been eyeing the Kerlik curlers for ages, but somehow, I just never got around to buying them. One evening, I decided to take the plunge and started browsing the Wildberry website. All the curlers looked pretty similar, but I noticed that some of them were longer – 100 cm, to be exact – while the standard ones were 85-90 cm. For me, it was a big deal, since my hair is pretty long, and I was worried that the curlers wouldn't be long enough. Plus, I'd recently chopped off 5 cm, so I thought the 100 cm curlers would be perfect. And, as it turned out, they were.

So, I got my curlers at the pickup point, and here's what they look like in their sturdy cellophane packaging:

Curlers- 1 piece - it's literally just foam, I thought it would be some kind of soft curler with a wire in the middle, but there's no wire at all, and that's actually a plus, since I have those kind of curlers and the wire always comes loose and gets tangled in my hair. The material is satin.2 satin hair ties;Clamp - it's super convenient and can be used separately from the curlers, just like the hair ties; And a comb - I think it's some kind of special comb for detangling curls, but I'm not sure I'll be using it that much.

I also got a step-by-step guide with photos and English descriptions, but it was pretty straightforward, so I didn't need to look at it too closely. To be honest, I had to figure it out myself because I wasn't sure how to use the curling iron at first.

The process.
I have to admit, I made a mistake here - it might not be a mistake for everyone, but it definitely wasn't ideal for my hair type. Without some kind of styling product, these curls wouldn't last more than an hour, and they'd start to relax under their own weight. I was a bit skeptical about whether the curling iron would be enough to cover my entire head of hair, but it actually worked out okay. As you can see, the ends are still a bit loose.

To be honest, I found it pretty awkward to walk around with this curling iron in my hair, especially since I did it during the day (the product says it should take 2-4 hours to set). But after a bit, I realized it was getting in the way of my daily activities, so I found a solution. I used a hair tie that wasn't included in the package and just tied the two sections of hair together like this:

After that, my hair wasn't in the way anymore. I wore it like this for 4 hours, and by the end, the curling iron had started to slip forward a bit due to the weight of my hair, but it wasn't a big deal.

I think I'll be pretty comfortable sleeping with these curlers on, since they're so soft. I just need to tie the ends back, like I did during the day, and fewer hairs will be poking out and rubbing against my pillow. They'll just slide down my back and not get in the way. I'd recommend experimenting with this for longer hair.
My hair holds up pretty well to these curlers, in my opinion. The clamp does a great job of holding everything in place without pulling on my hair, and I don't feel any discomfort - except when my hair is lying flat on the sides, but I've found a way to deal with that.

I want to talk a bit about my hair, its structure, the effect I'm going for, and how it responds to curling.
I think it's worth noting that the interaction between this type of curler and my hair depends on factors like hair length and thickness, and how well it takes to styling. For example, my hair is pretty dense and heavy, and I can get some nice waves with these curlers - but without extra products, they tend to fall flat. And even with products, it's not always a guarantee. I don't do curls often because they require a lot of maintenance - I have to wash my hair the next day because of all the product buildup. But I love the look, so I always make an exception for special occasions. I have two go-to curling methods: these soft curlers and a curling iron.
This past New Year's, I curled each section with these curlers and some gel, and it was a real pain. Not only was it time-consuming, but the results weren't always worth it. And to make matters worse, the curled sections would come undone and get tangled with the rest of my hair - it was a real hassle to get them out.
Curlers with gel.
I have to say, I was using this curling iron last New Year's Eve, and after spraying some hairspray, it looked pretty good. But, as you can see, the length of my hair caused some of it to stay straight, which is actually the style I like more, because it blends the straight hair with the curls. However, I wish it had a bit more flow to it. Maybe I'm being picky, but it takes a lot of time to achieve this look, especially with my thick hair, where it's hard to see the ends.

The effect of the Kerlik curlers.
I think I've already told you guys how hard it is for me to achieve beautiful curls, so let's get to the good stuff – the pros of this curling iron.
What I liked? Well, for starters, how quickly the strands curl up – about two minutes, and you're done! The hold time is 2-4 hours, and if you leave it on overnight, it'll be even better. Plus, they're super comfortable and soft. After four hours, I got these gorgeous curls:

Honestly, I've never gotten curls this soft and flowing in my previous two methods – it's exactly what I've always wanted!

Since the curling is mostly on the front strands, the curls stay in the front, but if you flip your hair back, you'll get a lovely, subtle wave. It's still pretty cool.

I sprayed some hairspray on my hair after taking out the curlers, but it still relaxed a bit. However, I did notice a wave, even in the evening, although it wasn't super strong. I should've used a mousse instead of hairspray – that would've kept it in place.

My Verdict.
I'm totally stoked with the results, especially after using them for a regular blowout. I used to spend ages teasing out each strand, but with these curlers, I get gorgeous, Hollywood-style waves with minimal effort. Plus, they're so soft and made of foam, I can even sleep with them in and wake up to amazing waves. I highly recommend them, even for thick hair like mine. Just be sure to use some styling cream and experiment with different styles, like curling my hair into a bun or even using them as sock curlers - I've heard great things about that!
And here's a quick video showing just how easy it is to take them out and the whole process is a breeze:
