Kasper Wet Wipes: A Great Choice for Families, But Not Ideal for Babies

summarizeEditor's Summary

I've tried Kasper wet wipes with my two young kids, and while they're not perfect, they're a solid choice for families. The 120-count pack is a great value for the price, and the packaging is fun and eye-catching. However, I'm not a fan of the ingredients, and they're not suitable for babies under a certain age. I've used them for a while, and they get the job done, but I'd recommend exploring other brands for your little ones if you want the best.

I'm a parent of two young kids, and let me tell you, wet wipes are a must-have in our household. We go through them like crazy, and I'm always on the lookout for a good deal.
I recently had the chance to try out Kasper wet wipes, and I was excited to see how they'd stack up. I'm a big fan of big packs of 100 or more, so I was happy to see that Kasper offers a 120-count pack.
I wanted to share my thoughts on these wet wipes, so here goes:
Brand: Kasper
Quantity: 120
Price: 130 rub
Where to buy: I used to only find Kasper products in Magnit stores, but now they're also available on marketplaces.
Age restrictions: 0+
Packaging:
The wet wipes come in a sturdy plastic pack with a fun design featuring a smiling baby, a giraffe, and a unicorn on a soap bubble. It's definitely eye-catching, and my kids love it.
The packaging clearly states the number of wipes and the age range (0+), which is great for parents who want to make sure they're using the right product for their little ones.
The back of the pack has all the necessary information about the manufacturer, ingredients, production date, and expiration date, as well as usage and storage recommendations. It's nice to see that Kasper is transparent about what's in their products.
The pack has a plastic lid that closes tightly. Initially, the opening is sealed with a sticker, but it's easy to remove once you're ready to use the wipes.
My main concern is that a child could easily open the lid, which isn't ideal for unsupervised use.
I usually grab one wipe at a time, but sometimes I need more. Even if I get a few extras, it's not a big deal for me. The wipes are well-absorbed and don't leave any residue on your skin, which is a big plus.
Towlettes:
I was surprised by how big the towlettes are - they're almost as big as two adult hands. To me, they're a bit too thin and have some wrinkles. Not ideal, but not the end of the world. One nice touch is that you can fold them in half for easier storage. When you do, the towlette gets a bit thicker, which is good.
The towlettes are well-absorbed, too - they're not too wet or too dry. And the scent is nice and subtle - not overpowering at all. Plus, they don't leave any residue on your skin, which is a big plus.
Composition:
I'd say the composition is pretty standard, if not a bit lacking. But hey, it's not like it's a deal-breaker or anything. The composition of the fabric is 30% viscose and 70% polyester.
The composition of the fabric is 30% viscose and 70% polyester.
As far as the fabric composition goes, I'm not too concerned - viscose and polyester aren't going to hurt a baby's skin.
The composition of the lotion is: demineralized water, cocamidopropyl betaine, glycerin, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, didecylmethylammonium chloride, devil's claw extract, grape extract, chamomile extract, aloe vera gel, allantoin, EDTA disodium salt, citric acid, and fragrance.
But the composition of the lotion? Yeah, that's a different story altogether. I'd say it's not suitable for sensitive newborn skin - I'd give it a 2+ age rating, if I'm being honest. It's not like it's a toxic substance or anything, but it's just not ideal for little ones.
So, we use these towlettes mainly for dirty hands or during meals. And, let's be real, they're also great for adults - my husband loves 'em, too!
Verdict: I highly recommend these wet wipes from Kasper for general family use and older kids. For babies, the formula just isn't suitable.
I hope that was helpful!
