I've been a fan of Kari shoes for a while now, but I've always had a soft spot for genuine leather, especially suede. I've been rocking a pair of suede ankle boots for about 4-5 years now, and a pair of suede dress shoes with a slight heel for around 3 years - both from Pierre Cardin, purchased from Kari and Novoski. They've both held up amazingly well.

When I needed a new pair of boots for the winter, I was looking for something with a slightly higher heel to wear with trousers and a shorter coat to work. I checked out a few nearby shoe stores, but nothing really caught my eye. That's when I turned to Kari, and I found the perfect pair.

When I bought them, they cost 5499 rubles, but I got 30% off with Kari's bonuses and another 1000 rubles off with the 'Sber Spasibo' bonus on the spot, so they ended up costing me around 3000 rubles. Now, with Kari's bonuses, you can even buy them for 2500 rubles, which I think is a great price for genuine shoes.

I'd like to note that you can also find these exact boots on WB, but they cost between 3 and 4 thousand rubles, depending on the color.

▶️ In the product card on the Kari app, these boots are shown in three colors - classic black, brown, and gray. Each color has its own article number.

Since I already have a lot of black shoes, I was torn between the other two shades. At first, I was leaning towards the brown ones - I even took a photo of them on the store shelf for myself. The color is beautiful, it reminds me of dark chocolate ⬇️

But then I mentally tried them on with my wardrobe and realized they wouldn't quite fit in - I have most of my clothes in cold colors. So, in the end, I chose the gray boots.

Now that I've mentioned the color, I'd like to elaborate on it a bit. On the website, it's simply listed as gray. I'd rather call it graphite, though, because it's a rich, dark, and cold shade. In certain lighting conditions and angles, it can almost look like black, especially indoors and under artificial lighting.

When I take a closer look in good daylight, I can see that the color is actually a deep, dark grey. Check out the photo below for a better idea of what it looks like in real life↓

The heel is solid, with a nice metal insert inside for extra support.

It's high-quality, dense, but not as stiff as wood. The sole is glued on.

The tread is deep, so the sole is almost non-slippery. Although on a slippery road or on ice, it does slip a bit.

▶️ The quality of the boots is excellent. They're sewn perfectly and neatly. There's no sign of glue around the sole. The suede is evenly colored. I didn't notice any unpleasant odor from them.

▶️ I tried on the boots in sizes 36 and 37, and I have to say that 36 felt a bit snug, but not tight, while 37 felt a bit loose. Luckily, I ended up buying my usual 36 size, as the fur inside flattened out and the boots fit perfectly. If I had bought a 37, I would have had to deal with a loose fit.

So, it's worth considering this when buying and not being afraid to get your usual size.
