I mean, I just had to try them out, you know? They're so soft and pink and girly, and they make your hair look amazing, apparently. And sleeping on them is just so comfy... I've seen all sorts of soft hair rollers out there (I'm intentionally using the word 'бигуди' and all its forms, don't judge me), they call them kerlix or something. I thought, why not give it a shot? And write a review, of course.

Jenny Hair Soft Night Hair Rollers

soft hair rollers for curling, vbI ordered the soft hair roller from Wildberries. I looked at the ratings, and there were tons of options, so I went with the weirdest one I could find (I think). But it's pink, though!Link to Wildberries: HERE

Price: I got them for 394 rubles, now it's 379. Not super cheap, but you can find cheaper options, I guess.

Want salon-quality curls at home without a curling iron and a trip to the salon? Jenny Hair hair rollers will give you a stunning hairstyle for a special occasion or every day! The curling strip is perfect for those who dream of natural, bouncy curls, minimizing the risk of damage. The flexible curling rod creates natural waves and root volume, just like the Instagram influencers and celebrities. Compared to traditional methods, slim hair rollers provide a professional and gentle styling experience. The soft velour band is hypoallergenic and made of cotton. The kerlix doesn't get in the way while you sleep, so you can leave them on overnight. The universal size makes them suitable for both short and long hair, making them a versatile tool for any styling needs. The crab clip and hair ties in the set can be used for everyday looks. This set would make a great gift for your sister, mom, or friend on her birthday, New Year's, March 8th, or any other holiday.

It all sounds so amazing and tempting! I just couldn't wait to try them out on my hair. I'll probably write about them sooner rather than later.

I have thin, not very dense hair, it's shoulder-length (just below, actually), straight (but it doesn't lie flat, the ends are always a bit wavy), and I have a cascading cut. There are some lightened areas, but I'd say my hair is almost a natural color all over.

Soft Curlers, How to UseI'm not exactly a hair styling pro - I'm more of a 'throw it up and go' kind of girl. My hair's not super thick, so I can usually get away with just using a flat iron or curling wand to add a few loose waves. But, let's be real, I'm a total lazybones when it comes to styling my hair. So, the idea of curling up my whole head of hair with those fancy curlers just seemed like way too much work. That's why I was stoked to try out the curler thing - it's basically the lazy girl's version of curling your hair!

Soft curlers for curling, reviewsI got the set in a matte transparent zip pouch, inside was a leaflet with a step-by-step guide on how to use it, but all the points were written in English. To be honest, you don't really need to read it, the pictures say it all. And on the product card page, there was a video showing how to curl with these soft curlers. Soft curlers for curling, priceAnd what a lovely pink plushie it is! The Jenny Hair soft curlers set consists of the curlers themselves, two elastic bands, and a crab clip. Jenny Hair Soft CurlersThe curlers are like a big soft pillow (I'm a word master, I know, sorry, it's going to happen again), most of it is filled with soft padding in the center, and the edges are flat bands without padding, with sloping ends. Soft curlers for curling, where to buyThe two velvety elastic bands in 90s style are needed to secure the hair ends. And, of course, you can wear them at home, who's going to stop you? You can even wear them out if you really want to. Soft curlers for curling, photoThe pink plastic crab clip. It's really hard to open, I think I might even break it... Nevertheless, I thought that even if the curlers don't work for me, at least the two elastic bands and the crab clip (if I don't break it) will stay with me. And for 400 rubles! I can afford it) Jenny Hair curlersSo, I've come up with a plan for myself:Wash my hairDry it to 80-90% (make sure the roots are dry)Brush it wellStart curlingI'll say it straight away, the crab clip isn't very comfortable to secure the hair band on the top of my head. It's just too tight. But you get used to it. I didn't measure the same amount of hair for each curl, I just did it by eye. Sometimes it was a bit too tight, sometimes a bit too loose. By the end, the widest parts were always left, I just didn't feel like doing it)

So, each new section of hair that I wrapped around the rod kind of locked in the previous one. But somehow, I still managed to do it a bit unevenly and clumsily...

When I had it all wrapped up, I put the bands on the rod, made two ponytails or whatever. You can just wear it like that, or tie two ribbons in the back. Or even stick it to your forehead, Solohka-style. But I just didn't like it that way. I'll show you why I took it off later.

soft curlers Kerlik, how to use I've been reading reviews about Jenny Hair soft curlers, and all the girls look young and pretty, even when they're curling their hair. But I'm just meI realized that there are some complexities with a cascading cut and these curlers. The shorter sections just want to escape from the curls...

Jenny Hair curlers, result And here's the result after six hours (I didn't do it at night, just during the day on a weekend). I took it off easily and painlessly, and it didn't pull my hair out. I liked the curls that I got. They were big and messy, and I'm really into that. I didn't even bother to brush them out, just sprayed some hairspray and left it like that. Later, I had to break them up a bit with my fingers, but I didn't want to comb it out.

Jenny Hair curlers, reviews Unfortunately, after an hour, my curls had turned into a barely noticeable wave, and in some places, they were even straight. People told me it was okay, that it was a relaxed look, but I was expecting more hold. And my hairspray wasn't even failing me before. Jenny Hair curlers The next time, I decided to apply some hair cream before curling to make sure. And then I forgot to take off the clip! But it didn't even bother me at night. Yes, sleeping with this contraption is actually pretty comfortable, although the next morning, the bands in the back always come undone, and something always gets messed up, and the one band always comes off...I woke up like this (with a puffy face, I'm embarrassed):

Soft curlers for curlingSee the kink at the top? Nope, it's not a root volume, it's a mark from the clamp. So, make sure to remove it. And how about the curls? Did they turn out okay? Not a single strand by strand, but they're... natural, I guess. That's what I was going for. Jenny Hair night curlers Ah, yeah. Check out what's left of them after 30 minutes... It looks like I've been rocking this hairstyle for three days, and my hair's due for a wash. That's some serious laid-back vibes right there. But, I did want curls... Big ones, just like they promised. Soft curlers Jenny Hair Jenny Hair night curlers By the way, during my first use, I think I made one of the most common mistakes – I curled my damp hair... Of course, by morning, they were still 100% damp... And the result looked like this: Jenny Hair Soft night curlers, reviews I keep trying to find the right approach to these trendy soft curlers. Maybe when my hair's longer and my hands are steadier, the result will be more appealing and longer-lasting...Jenny Hair soft night curlers have some pros:

They come in a nice pink colorThe material feels great against my skinThe clips and clamp are includedFor the first 30 minutes, the curls turn out pretty niceThey're super comfy to sleep inIt's easy to curl my hair with themThey're easy to remove without causing any hair breakageBut, for me, there are some cons:

The clamp is a bit too tight and can break easilyDuring the night, some strands tend to come undoneThe result isn't always what I want, and it doesn't last longWho are these soft night curlers from Jenny Hair for?

I think they'd be perfect for people with fine hair (like mine)), but it's best if your hair's all the same length, not like mine – a layered mess. I'm guessing lightened hair would work better for curling, while natural, straight hair might not hold the curl for long.

I'd give the Jenny Hair soft curlers a solid 3 out of 5, but hey, you might be a pro at styling and I'm just a beginner, so who knows? Still, I'm gonna give 'em a thumbs up!
