Hello there.
I recently had to travel to Zlatogor for work. We were booked to stay at the Izmailovo Hotel Complex.
I'm going to tell you about it today, and show you some closer shots of the Delta building.
First off, what really surprised me was how close it is to the metro. Literally right across the road.
It's super convenient and awesome! I just hop on and off.
Secondly, from the Leningradsky Vokzal, it takes me only 20 minutes to get to the Partizanskaya metro.
Third surprise.
It's basically a gastronomic paradise here. Head left and you'll find some great chебуреки. Head right and you'll stumble upon a cozy cafe. And so on. Even if you just walk straight, you'll find some food to grab.
So, there are several large buildings in the Izmailovo complex.
It's clearer on the next photo.
The one closest to the metro is the Alpha building. By the way, there's a Sberbank ATM there.
Delta, where we stayed, is the farthest one. And it's actually connected to the Gamma building.
Alright, let's head inside and take a closer look.
We're greeted by a spacious lobby.
Check-in is standard from 14:00.
And by that time, there's already a decent crowd.
Unlike Gamma, this lobby has a more cold-toned atmosphere.I'll show you the Gamma lobby too, but later.
The interior is really nice. I didn't have any issues.
I've got to say, the whole place is nicely decorated. Every time I look around, I'm impressed. The transitions to the Gamma area are in the same color scheme. It's pretty funny-looking.
We got our keys, and we headed up to our room.
There were more than enough elevators. They're fast, so going up and down wasn't a problem at all.
First of all, there were six elevators on each side. And second, they worked super fast - it was like being on a plane.
Next up, the corridor - you need a key card to get in.
Our room was a standard two-person room.
The tea station was a nice touch. Everything got refilled as it ran out.
We had more than enough white towels.
And all the toiletry sets were replenished daily.
The white robes were in decent condition.
The disposable slippers were a nice touch.
Our room was on the 24th floor, and the view from the window was amazing - you could see the whole city.
Parking is available, but I didn't need to worry about the cost.
And if we turn our heads to the right, we'll see the Izmailovo Kremlin.
Now, let's talk about the food. I said this place is a culinary paradise, and it really is. You don't even need to book a room with breakfast - you can grab a bite anywhere you like, even in the same restaurant if you want.
This smaller dining area has everything you need for lunch, and we had a great meal here.
And if you want to try something else, there's another dining option in the same restaurant.
Or you could try something else entirely.
Or even somewhere else.
Now, let's head to the Gamma building.
You can get there without leaving the hotel.
The hotel has plenty of water features, and the sound of the water is really soothing.
I headed over to Gammage.
This theater is already dressed up in warm tones.
If you can't wait to go shopping, you can stroll down the designated 'shopping street'
It's standard fare for shopping street - lots of souvenirs. But there are other shops and even a pharmacy nearby, so you don't have to go far.
What to do with your free time.
It's all about your schedule and budget.
You can take a trip out.
Or just take a walk yourself.
As I mentioned earlier, the Izmailovo Kremlin is right nearby.
It's a new build, but it's done really nicely. There are loads of souvenir shops, museums, workshops, the Wedding Palace and so on. You can grab a bite to eat and try something interesting there too. It's within walking distance.
It's a five-minute stroll at a leisurely pace.
And that's your entertainment sorted.
View from the side of the Kremlin.
There are also parks within walking distance. If you've got kids, you can take them to the amusement park. If you're without kids and want to treat your eyes, there are also lakes nearby.
That's the Silver Pond, I think. The territory around the hotels is well-maintained and clean.
At night, it's lit up, adding to the cozy atmosphere.
The weather was perfect during my stay, so I could enjoy the evening outside with a cup of tea.
By the way, the Gamma complex has its own spa center.
The price is 1000 rubles if you want to steam and bathe, and 500 if you only need the pool. There was no hype, although the hotel was packed with guests.
What can I say about this place, specifically about the spa center?
That's a letdown. It's dirty, and everything is uncomfortable.
There's no changing room, no shower. It's all pretty uncomfortable for humans. Everything's in a strange state that needs a major renovation and, most importantly, regular maintenance.
I did manage to steam a bit. They promised two steam rooms, but there was only a Finnish sauna. The pool had acceptable water temperature, but the lighting was dim, more to hide the, ahem, 'equipment' than to create an atmosphere.
You can get a massage there, but I skipped it.
Essentially, you need to go in your clothes and bring a bag with your own stuff - towels, robes, and toiletries.
The place is pretty off-putting. Of course, you shouldn't go barefoot.
This complex reminds me of a similar one I saw in the Petersburg hotel, Park Inn Pulkovskaya.
It's nothing like the real spa zone in the Petrozavodsk hotel, SPa-otel Karelia.
This complex kind of ruined the experience for me. But I didn't dwell on the negative. I wanted to try something new.
What are my takeaways?
The room rate was pretty reasonable, around 3 thousand rubles.
Yes, it's not in the center of Moscow, but the proximity to the metro is a real song. Getting to the center is no big deal.
But if you don't need to rush there, Izmailovo Kremlin can be a good enough place for leisure. The hotels are packed with everything you need for people. You can eat and shop without leaving the premises, as they say.
I was really happy with the accommodation. Our room was clean, without any defects. I never heard my neighbors once.
I'd only count the sauna zone with a pool as a minus.
The staff is polite and tries to resolve any issues quickly.
===================
They call this hotel legendary, and say it's the only hotel that tourists are taken to on excursions. We were lucky enough to stay here. What's inside? What's the catch? - The hotel is near the Dinamo metro.
===================
Moscow will always surprise you with new things. It'll always find something to amaze you.On this trip, we managed to ride a pretty amazing train.
It looks like just a metro, but you can find something amazing there! The route will feel like a visit to a gallery.
You can even visit the Historical Toilet.
They restored the pre-revolutionary toilet interior a few years ago. Now you can go in, take a look, and even leave something behind.

Thanks for reading, I've marked Izmailovo Hotel Complex as a plus for myself.
And if I ever need to find a place to stay again, this is a pretty good option at a reasonable price.
