Innisfree No-Sebum AC Powder

I've tried this powder on acne-prone skin and it really delivers. It absorbs excess oil and controls shine, leaving you with a smooth, matte finish all day. It's perfect for hot summer days or anytime you want to keep your skin looking fresh and oil-free. I've noticed a big difference in my skin since using it - less oil, fewer breakouts, and a more even tone.

Editor's Summary

I recently tried the Innisfree NO-Sebum AC Powder, and while it delivered a silky-smooth finish, I was disappointed with its short lifespan. For a product that promises to control sebum and maintain skin balance, I expected more durability. The powder's benefits are undeniable, but its flaws hold it back from being a top choice. If you're looking for a reliable powder, you might want to consider other options. That said, the NO-Sebum AC Powder is still a decent option for those with oily skin who need a quick fix. Just be aware of its limitations and don't expect it to last you long. Using it regularly, I found that it's incredibly lightweight and won't cake or settle into pores. The fine texture makes it easy to blend and apply. It's also a great option for those with sensitive skin, as it's fragrance-free and hypoallergenic. However, the powder doesn't last long, even with regular use, and the packaging is small, which means you'll need to reapply frequently. The powder can be a bit pricey, especially considering its short lifespan.

Hello!

I was on the hunt for a new translucent powder when I stumbled upon the NO-Sebum AC Powder from the well-known Korean brand Innisfree. Their mineral powder was a hit back in the day, but I couldn't find many reviews on this particular version.

Product Details.

The powder is made in Korea, and the weight is a tiny 5g.

Pricing and where to buy: I picked up the powder from IM Zolotoe Yabloko for 855 rubles. The price has since dropped to around 700 rubles. You can also find it in network cosmetics stores and online marketplaces.

Product Information from the Manufacturer:

This powder is designed to give you a silky-smooth finish and a pore-smoothing effect, making it perfect for tackling makeup application issues on problematic skin. It's great for controlling excess sebum and maintaining the skin's water-oil balance, providing comfort without dryness.

Ingredients:

The list of ingredients is a long one: SILICA, DIMETHICONE/VINYL DIMETHICONE CROSSPOLYMER, VINYL DIMETHICONE/METHICONE SILSESQUIOXANE CROSSPOLYMER, DIMETHICONE, BUTYLENE GLYCOL DICAPRYLATE/DICAPRATE, WATER / AQUA / EAU, MICA, ALCOHOL DENAT., BUTYLENE GLYCOL, CALAMINE, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, LAUROYL LYSINE, 1,2-HEXANEDIOL, DEHYDROACETIC ACID, ACORUS CALAMUS ROOT EXTRACT, SALICYLIC ACID, PROPANEDIOL, CENTELLA ASIATICA FLOWER/LEAF/STEM EXTRACT, TOCOPHEROL, DISODIUM EDTA, SODIUM HYALURONATE, HYDROLYZED HYALURONIC ACID, SODIUM HYALURONATE CROSSPOLYMER, HYALURONIC ACID, SODIUM ACETYLATED HYALURONATE.

External Characteristics.

Packaging. Design.

The packaging is super cute, if a bit minimalist. It's a tiny little compact with a screw-off lid.

Innisfree NO-Sebum AC Powder Matte Finishing PowderThis compact is adorable, and inside, you'll find a protective layer and a cute little puff.

Innisfree NO-Sebum AC Powder Matte Finishing PowderThe protective film comes off easily without leaving any stickiness behind.

Innisfree NO-Sebum AC Powder Matte Finishing PowderThe powder is dispensed through small holes in the plastic casing.

Innisfree NO-Sebum AC Powder Matte Finishing PowderThe powder comes out incredibly easily - almost too easily. There are some compacts where you need to shake them up really well to get the powder out, but this one's the opposite - the powder just sort of pops out onto the surface. One wrong move and you're surrounded by a cloud of white powder.

It's so light and airy.

On the back of the packaging, you'll find some information about the product and the manufacturer, as well as the expiration date.

Innisfree NO-Sebum AC Powder Matte Finishing PowderTexture. Fineness.

The powder has an incredibly fine, delicate texture - probably the finest I've ever tried.

Innisfree NO-Sebum AC Powder Mattifying Powder I was surprised at how easily it came off, but it did leave a bit of a cloud behind. The texture is smooth and even, with no clumps to speak of. When I applied it with a powder brush, the layer ended up being a bit thicker, which made it look a bit too white on my skin. But when I blended it out, the white tone disappeared, and I was left with a nice, matte finish that looked totally natural.

Innisfree NO-Sebum AC Powder Mattifying Powder

My Experience with It

I've got combination skin that's leaning towards the oily side, so I'm always on the lookout for a good mattifying powder. Even when I'm using a foundation with a bit of a glow, I like to set it with a powder to get rid of any shine and then highlight with a highlighter afterwards.

The powder brush that comes with it is small and compact, but it does a decent job of picking up the powder and applying it to my skin. However, I'm not a fan of how it presses the powder onto my skin, leaving a bit of a white residue behind.

For this powder, I prefer to use a fluffy, natural-bristled brush to apply it, as it gives a much more natural-looking finish and doesn't cake the powder onto my skin. The result is a smooth, matte finish with no shine to speak of.

Before: foundation with a bit of a glow

on my skin After applying the powder:

Innisfree NO-Sebum AC Powder Matte PowderI'm really happy with the result - the powder does a great job of eliminating shine, giving my skin a matte finish without looking cakey or washed out. It still looks healthy and alive, which is exactly what I'm going for.

Of course, if I apply too much powder, it can start to dry out my skin and accentuate fine lines. To avoid this, I use a bigger brush and apply the powder more lightly, so it's more of a subtle dusting than a thick layer.

The powder doesn't accentuate any imperfections or texture, and it even helps to smooth out my pores, giving my skin a soft, velvety finish.

Powder/Powder + PrimerLongevity isn't the strongest suit of the NO-Sebum AC Powder - on my oily skin, it only lasts for about 3-4 hours before the shine starts to come back, especially around my nose. After that, I need to reapply or use some oil-absorbing sheets to keep things under control.

That being said, the powder does a great job of prepping my skin for further makeup, whether it's foundation, blush, or contour. It helps everything go on smoothly and evenly, and it doesn't get in the way of my other products.

Value is a mixed bag - on the one hand, the powder is pretty affordable, but on the other hand, it's so light and powdery that it can be a bit of a pain to work with, especially when it comes to getting it out of the container.

I was really excited to try the NO-Sebum AC Powder from Innisfree, but unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to my expectations. The powder itself is incredibly fine and applies smoothly, but it doesn't last very long on my oily skin.

That being said, it's still a great product for certain types of skin. If you've got dry or combination skin, you might find that it works perfectly for you. Just be aware that it's not the most long-lasting powder out there.

The packaging is cute, and the powder comes with a nice little brush. However, the brush can be a bit finicky, and it's not the most effective way to apply the powder.

Overall, I'd say that the NO-Sebum AC Powder is a decent choice, but it's not without its flaws. If you're looking for a long-lasting powder, you might want to look elsewhere. But if you're after a budget-friendly option that's easy to apply, this might be the way to go.

- it's super budget-friendly;

- it has an incredibly fine texture that applies really smoothly;

- it does a great job of matifying my skin;

- it doesn't accentuate any texture or imperfections;

- it helps to smooth out my pores.

- it can be a bit of a dust bomb;

- it could last longer on my skin.

I'd definitely recommend the NO-Sebum AC Powder to anyone with oily skin who's looking for a budget-friendly option. Just be aware that it's not the most long-lasting powder out there, and it can be a bit of a pain to work with.
