Hello everyone! I'll start by saying that we have a super allergic dog, a Shar-Pei. She's allergic to just about everything: dust, pollen, air fresheners, powder, perfume, chicken, turkey, lamb, venison, pork, deer, rabbit, and even bug bites. Any deviation causes eczema, dermatitis, and open sores. Her eyes, ears, and nose are always running, and she sheds like crazy, even to the point of bleeding.
Before this, we were stuck on Acana until it got banned in our country. Then we switched to Monj hypoallergenic. While browsing an online store, I stumbled upon this food, and the ingredient list blew me away. It seemed like it might work for us, so I bought a 3 kg bag to try it out. Now, let me tell you what happened.

Packaging. The food comes in a sturdy, foil-lined bag with a crafty design. The brand's entire product line is color-coded, with different flavors marked by distinct hues. The white fish variety is a lovely light blue.
The manufacturer claims that this food contains 65% natural ingredients. As a bonus, there's no chicken, soy, GMOs, grains, or wheat.
I was really impressed by the ingredient list - it's spot on. Fish meat is at the top, followed by rice, duck fat, and a bunch of other additives like vitamins and herbs. I was a bit skeptical about the duck fat, but it's a decent choice. I would have preferred fish oil over duck fat, though.
Texture. Color. Smell. It's got a great texture, with medium-sized brown kibbles that are nice and rounded. It's perfect for medium-sized breeds. The smell is amazing, too - it smells just like fresh fish.
I was really impressed by how little mess this food leaves behind - no oily residue on my hands and it doesn't crumble much either.

My hands-on experience. I was really impressed by the packaging - it's got a tear-off line and a new type of closure that's a wide adhesive strip all the way along, which keeps the food fresh and the package sealed tight.
One thing that really stood out to me was that the expiration date information stays on the packaging even after you open the top part - that's super important to me.
I also wanted to leave a photo of the feeding chart recommendation.
We transitioned to Grandorf in 5-7 days, and from the gut perspective, there were no issues, normal stool, no gas, no allergies. But when we fully transitioned and fed it for two weeks, the dog started to lose its coat, it became dull and lifeless.
Despite everything, we continued to feed it, and the coat started to fall out even more, just from petting it, I'd get clumps on my hand. The eyes were running, and we had to treat an allergic ear infection at the same time.
The allergy got worse, the dog started to scratch a lot, and we stopped feeding this food and went back to Monja. Now everything has normalized, and I can confidently say it was all due to the change in food.
We didn't finish the bag in the end, and it's not cheap, so I thought it was worth mentioning.
Feeding our street cats was a blast. The fishy smell drew in cats and dogs from all around the neighborhood. I only managed to capture one photo, though. Since the cats were able to tear into the food, I'm guessing smaller dogs could too, but it might be too small for larger breeds.
Takeaway. Grandorf Adult Dog Food for All Breeds with White Fish and Rice wasn't a hit with us. I'm not sure if I'd recommend it or not. Some people might have allergies to wheat, others to oats. We're one of the unlucky ones who react to everything except the fish. I think the turkey fat in the ingredients is unnecessary and could be swapped out for fish oil.
Given that the manufacturer claimed it's hypoallergenic, I'd say they fell short. It could've been marketed as a fish-based food instead.
Personally, I liked the ingredient list, so I was hoping it'd work for my dog, but it didn't. I won't be buying it again.
