MY EXPERIENCE
I've bought Huppa's winter range for my daughter multiple times, and this combo is one of our favorites. We've had it for two seasons now, and I'm planning to take it into its third. Based on my experience, I've got some insights to share.

COMPOSITION
The outer layer and insulation are made from polyester, while the inner lining is cotton. The outer layer is a membrane fabric with water-repellent properties, allowing for airflow.
Huppa Winter Combo Details The manufacturer goes into great detail about the technologies used to make their clothing.
HUPPA fabrics are designed specifically for use in rainy, slushy weather; they protect against water, wind, cold, dirt, and 'breathe.' Thanks to the latest technology, the fabrics remain soft even in temperatures as low as -30°C. All HUPPA fabrics have high wear resistance.
HUPPA fabrics have a layer of polyurethane with micro-pores on the reverse side (a membrane), which prevents water from passing through the fabric into the garment, while allowing the moisture produced by the body to evaporate – that's what's known as 'breathable' fabric.

HUPPA SIZES | FITTING
The size 98 on our combo means it's suitable for kids who are 98cm or taller – approximately 3-4 years old.
Huppa Fitting This combo definitely has some extra room – about 4-6cm, just like all HUPPA items. My daughter started wearing it at 96cm, and it was a bit too long, but it wasn't noticeable.
A year later (for the next winter season), the combo fit perfectly and looked like this:
Huppa winter jumpsuit photo One thing that's been a lifesaver this year is that the sleeves fit perfectly, even though my kid's grown 115 cm tall. But, let's be real, the pants are a different story - they're looking a bit shot, to say the least.
Huppa winter kids' jumpsuits Still, we're planning to break it out this winter when we hit the slopes. It's just so warm and cozy that I don't want to part with it. For ease of reference, here are the measurements:

MODEL | LINE | COLORWAY
Our jumpsuit is the HUPPA KIERA, which falls under the Classic line - that's the mid-range segment for this brand.
This model comes with a removable hood that attaches to the collar with buttons. The hood's faux fur looks and feels like the real deal - it's not shedding or anything.
HUPPA photo The jumpsuit zips up with two clasps on either side, which is a pretty unique feature, but it makes it super easy to get in and out of.
Huppa комбинезон зимний отзывыTip ☝️
Don't go for tight-fitting winter wear - it should be loose!I've learned this the hard way, and I'm glad I did. The KIERA model has a super relaxed fit, perfect for curvy moms like me. Even though my daughter's petite, I chose this style because winter wear needs to be roomy to trap warmth.
The Classic line has a ton of different color options - there's something for everyone. Plus, Huppa releases new prints every season, so you'll always find something fresh. I went with the Panda print:
HUPPA Отзывы комбинезон детскийIt's a gorgeous fuchsia background with adorable pandas frolicking in the snow - a perfect winter wonderland scene. I think the color combo is spot on, and the design itself is really nice.xa0
INNER LINING
The inner lining in this combo is made from natural cotton, just like a soft flannel baby blanket. It's super soft and cozy - I've worn it for three winters now, and it still looks great!
HUPPATip ☝️I'd avoid choosing synthetic-filled clothing for your kid for winter, as it can feel like wearing a windbreaker. The heat just doesn't stay in.

HUPPA INSULATOR
What I like about this product is that it uses HuppaTherm, a synthetic insulation that traps heat better than regular synthetic and keeps the cold air out.
Check out the full details here:
HuppaTherm is a next-gen insulation with a unique arrangement of microfibers that retains volume and provides high thermal insulation, plus it's easy to clean and dries quickly. The microfiber structure prevents cold air from seeping in while keeping warmth between the fibers. This results in better heat retention compared to regular synthetic insulation. I also appreciate how lightweight and flexible HuppaTherm is, even after being compressed for a long time – it's a must-have for long-lasting performance.
I've included a handy table showing the amount of insulation in grams and the temperature it's designed for.
Insulation photo at what temperature The Classic line implies an insulator of 300 grams - this is the warmest winter option with a HuppaTherm filler, suitable for temperatures up to -30. It's obvious that in such weather, you won't be taking your kid out for a walk, but at least you can rest assured about their health all winter. We tested the combo at -25°C: we went for a walk for over an hour, and my daughter didn't freeze.
Due to the maximum amount of insulation, the combo looks quite thick, but it's not heavier than similar winter items.
Huppa classic winter combo
Safety The combo features reflective details at the front and back. There's also a loop on the side where you can attach any reflective strip. I think these elements are crucial as they make the kid visible in the dark.
Huppa photo Convenience
For me, as a parent, this combo is super convenient and warm during winter walks: everything's closed, and there's no wind getting in. The pant legs have elastic cuffs, and there are also snap fasteners. For those who don't know, snap fasteners are like the straps on old snowsuits - you can attach them to the snaps or remove them altogether.
HUPPA HUPPA I've found that the pants are a bit tricky to put on over boots, which isn't ideal from a hygiene standpoint. However, it does mean the pant legs don't ride up and snow can't get in your boots.
There are a few minor drawbacks, like when my kid wears the snow suit to the mall, they can't just take it off like a jacket. They end up sweating, which isn't great. I guess that's what you get with outerwear designed for the streets.
My kid even came home from kindergarten one day and said their teacher told them the snow suit was no good because it's hard to put on. At first, I was a bit taken aback by the comment, but then I realized that in a group of 40 kids, it's not easy to get everyone dressed for a snow trip. We had boots with wide cuffs, and my kid just couldn't manage to put them on themselves. The teacher ended up having to help each time.
The hood on the snow suit is pretty wide, I think it's designed to fit over a helmet, so without a scarf or neck warmer, the neck area is pretty exposed.
VALUE FOR MONEY
I bought the Huppu snow suit back in 2018 for 7,000 rubles. Prices seem to be around the same now. As for the quality, I have no complaints. The suit doesn't leak, and the stitching is neat and secure with additional glue applied to the seams.
HUPPA reviews I've been wearing this HUPPA snowsuit for two seasons now, and nothing's torn - except for the cuts we made ourselves, probably on a skiing slope. The fabric hasn't ripped anywhere else. The only signs of wear are where my little one's been crawling on the snow, and the knees have lost a bit of color. Cut on the knee area of the HUPPA snowsuit I think the price is fully justified and matches the quality.
Care The care label says to hand-wash at 40 C with special detergents. I haven't washed the snowsuit yet, as I'm worried it might damage the fabric. But it's still in great condition, and the material does a fantastic job of repelling dirt. I just wipe it clean with a damp cloth sometimes.
Conclusion Sorry about the lengthy review, but it's turned into a full-on review of the HUPPA snowsuit! To sum it up, I'm really happy with the winter clothing from this brand: it doesn't let the wind in, it doesn't get wet, it repels dirt, it's super warm, and it looks great too. Well done, Estonians! I'd definitely recommend HUPPA.xa0
UPDATE February 2023!
I've been using the Huppa winter divided jumpsuit for my daughter for two seasons now – she's 6 and 7 years old. I'm still super happy with the quality and design. She didn't get cold in it, even in freezing temperatures. When she was active outdoors, she actually complained that it was too warm. Cleaning the light jacket is a breeze – just use a damp cloth and some soap (I'm careful not to damage the membrane, so I don't wash it too often). The only downside is that the knees tend to get worn out over time.
Price: 5000₽
Size: 122 – we ordered it for a height of 120-130 cm

2024 year winter jumpsuit huppa in a year
We're buying Huppa for our second little one, and we're happy with the purchase again. It's comfortable and warm.
Another great Huppa combo – the softshell material doesn't get wet, and the fleece lining is a plus. I'd give it 5 stars or more.
