Huggies Girl's Diapers for Girls

Let's face it, as a parent, you've got a million things on your mind. But one thing you don't want to worry about is whether your little one is comfortable and happy. That's where Huggies Girl's Diapers come in - they're a reliable choice that offers great value for money. Plus, they're designed with comfort and ease of use in mind, making them a top pick for busy families. I've tried them out with my own kids and I'm a big fan - the absorbency is top-notch and they're super easy to put on.

A Disappointing Experience with Huggies Girls' Diapers

summarizeEditor's Summary

I've been a loyal fan of Huggies with my son, but my experience with their girls' diapers was a letdown. I know they're pricey, but I expected better quality. Unfortunately, the diapers didn't impress me with their size, comfort, or value for money. I used them for a week, and while they were okay, I wouldn't recommend them to friends. The quality is questionable, considering the price, and the diapers run small, which can be a problem if your child is a bit larger. My daughter often complains about them, and I've dealt with a few instances of leakage, which was frustrating. Overall, I'm not sure if it's worth every penny.

I've been a loyal fan of Huggies with my son, but my experience with their girls' diapers was a letdown. I know Huggies are known for being a bit pricey, but I expected better quality.
Product Details:
Name - Huggies Girls' DiapersSize - LQuantity - 52 piecesCountry of origin - RussiaPrice - Around 1000 rublesWhere I bought it - Ozon marketplacePackaging and Design:
The packaging is a standard diaper pack with a carrying handle, but when you open the pack, the diapers are tightly packed, making them a bit hard to grab initially.
The diapers have a T-shaped design, but the outside feels a bit rough and papery, and when you unfold them, they make a rustling sound. I remember them feeling softer to the touch. There's an adhesive strip at the back for easy disposal, but the glue isn't very strong, and the fold often comes undone. The strip itself is also quite narrow.
There's also a wetness indicator to show when the diaper needs to be changed.
The inner surface has a smooth, blue finish with a subtle floral pattern. The leg cuffs are good, stretch well, and fit snugly against the skin. The seams are easy to rip open from the sides with a bit of force. I still have some Jonnies Comfort diapers in size L (9-14kg) left, and if I put them side by side, the difference is really noticeable. They're in the same price category, but for the same amount of money, I get a completely different quality. The size of Jonnies matches the stated size, while Huggies are much smaller. And the absorbent part is much smaller too. Jonnies are much softer, don't rustle at all, and the inner surface has soft padding. How they fit my daughter. My daughter is about 78cm tall and weighs 11.5kg. She's a bit on the chubby side.
The Huggies fit her tightly, but they don't cover her belly properly, and they're always trying to slide down. With Jonnies, I don't have that problem at all.
My experience with them.I was really disappointed with the Huggies girls' diapers. I won't be buying them again.
During use, there were no leaks, but my daughter is a bit of a frequent pee-er, and because of that, we don't usually have any issues with leaks from any brand.
The absorbency of Huggies is just average, they stay dry for a while, but then they get wet. They're not great for nighttime use.
I've gotta say, I was really disappointed with the absorbency of these Huggies for girls. They claim to have enhanced absorbency in the middle, but it's just a bunch of hype. In reality, the liquid distribution is super uneven, and the absorbent material is clumped together. One minute it's dry, the next it's a solid gel. And don't even get me started on how much it puffs up!
The indicator also works weirdly and unevenly. And more often than not, the used diapers look like this.
Because the diapers run small and puff up so much, they end up rubbing against my daughter's sensitive areas. And as a result, she's constantly getting red and irritated, and we have to use zinc paste and change her diapers way more often than usual. It's not an allergy, it's just irritation from the urine. I wish I could just finish the pack and be done with them.
The Verdict.
Huggies really needs to rethink their pricing strategy - it's just not worth the quality they're offering. For this price, you can get way better diapers that are softer and don't run so small.
