Hello everyone!
I'm excited to share my thoughts on the Huggies Elite Soft Nighttime Diapers, which I've purchased multiple times.
Let's be real, finding the perfect nighttime diapers for a hungry, thirsty baby on top of breastfeeding is a real challenge. And if you've got a boy, it's even tougher, since they tend to experience more frequent leaks.
I spent ages searching for the perfect nighttime diapers and tried out several brands (I'll link to my reviews at the end of this post).
When I came across these diapers, I read the reviews here and saw that many people had great things to say about them. So, I decided to give them a try.
Quick rundown:
Price: 595 rubles;
Quantity: 19;
Size: 4 (L) 9-14 kg;
Where to buy: I've purchased them on Ozon each time, but you can also find them on other marketplaces.
Design and description:
The packaging is small and looks nice. On the front, there's a cute image of a little boy, and the packaging itself is dark blue, which makes it easy to spot on store shelves.
Huggies Elite Soft Nighttime Diapers
Huggies Elite Soft Nighttime DiapersThe diapers are neatly folded and there's no creasing.
Huggies Elite Soft Nighttime DiapersI have to say, the design of these diapers caught my eye first. The adorable sleepy mouse on the front is super cute and makes me think of a cozy night's sleep. But, unfortunately, the softness of the diapers is a different story. They're only soft on the inside, which is a bummer. We've used other brands, like Junis, that are even softer.
Huggies Elite Soft Nighttime DiapersThe elastic is pretty tight, but it stretches well. They don't snap or tear easily.
Huggies Elite Soft Nighttime DiapersThe top layer is a bit noisy, and there's a wetness indicator.
Huggies Elite Soft Nighttime DiapersThe inner layer isn't particularly breathable, but there is a design on it. The diapers aren't super thick, but they're not thin either. Overall, they're great for nighttime use.

Huggies Elite Soft Nighttime DiapersOne thing I've noticed with Huggies is that their diapers and pull-ups always run small. We've had to buy them in the next size up, and even then, they're still a bit tight. It's like they're designed for smaller babies or something.
Huggies Elite Soft Nighttime DiapersThey do sit pretty well, but my little one isn't exactly comfortable in them. The elastic leaves red marks on their skin, and they just don't have enough give or flexibility.
Huggies Elite Soft Nighttime DiapersMy baby just never seemed to take to these, even when we upgraded to the next size. The last pack we got was even a size bigger, but they still felt too tight.
Huggies Elite Soft Nighttime DiapersThey do a decent job of covering the bottom, but I still prefer Q-shaped pull-ups for my little one.
Huggies Elite Soft Nighttime DiapersWhat really gets me is how these diapers squeeze the most around the bum, not between the legs.
Huggies Elite Soft Nighttime DiapersYou can even tell from the pictures that these aren't exactly thin diapers.
Huggies Elite Soft Nighttime DiapersNo extra frills here, and honestly, I prefer it that way.

Usage:
We switched to diapers around 3 months, when our trusty nighttime diapers just weren't cutting it anymore. We were dealing with regular leaks on top, thanks to our little one's impressive bladder control.
Unfortunately, these nighttime diapers also leak often, sometimes even on the sides. But at least they last almost the whole night. Our little one's not been having accidents at night for a while now (unless I'm running a bit behind schedule by 8 am).
The diapers do get pretty puffy and tight, which might not be super comfortable for our little one. But on the plus side, their skin always stays dry underneath. We've never had any issues with allergies, irritation, or diaper rash after using these.
Huggies Elite Soft Nighttime DiapersAs you can see, our little one's pee is mostly concentrated at the front and top, so boys might experience more leaks. The liquid just can't spread down fast enough.
Huggies Elite Soft Nighttime DiapersAccidents can happen, but if you're quick to change, you shouldn't have any issues getting everything cleaned up (we haven't had any problems like that).
Huggies Elite Soft Nighttime DiapersI've gotta say, these nighttime diapers have really impressed me. They last from 20 to 21 hours until 4 to 6 am, which is perfect for my little one. If your baby isn't on a strict feeding schedule or doesn't eat and drink frequently, these diapers are a great choice. And if you're not a new parent, you'll appreciate the convenience.
Takeaways:
The design is super cute;They're super soft on the inside;They last around 8 hours;No red marks or allergic reactions;No annoying air pockets.Cons:
They can leak;They run small;They're a bit too tight for bigger babies;Lack of flexibility and softness.I'd recommend these diapers to some parents, but not all. It really depends on your baby's needs and preferences.
If you're looking for other great options, I've tried a few other brands:
Junis Nighttime Diapers are the softest I've found. Pampers Nighttime Diapers are the most ideal. Momi Monkey is a brand to avoid, if you can. Kasper Diapers are worth a try. Elibell Premium Diapers are our go-to diapers until 4 months.
