How Supernatural Made My Fear of Darkness Worse

Specifications
Hello everyone!
I'm super stoked to share my thoughts on the TV show Supernatural today.
🕷️GENERAL INFO
Genre: detective, fantasy, drama, horror, thrillerCountry: USARelease Year: 2005Description:I'm a huge fan of the supernatural, so this show was right up my alley.
It follows the adventures of the Winchester brothers, Sam and Dean, as they travel across the United States in their 1967 Chevrolet Impala, investigating paranormal activity, much of which is based on American urban legends and folklore, and battling the forces of evil, including demons and ghosts.
Okay, so I'm not going to spoil it for you like I promised - I don't even read the description when I'm deciding what to watch. It's all about the title and the cover art for me. So, I'll just give you the lowdown on the good and the bad.
Alright, let's get the bad stuff out of the way first. So, 🕷️THE MINUSES of the series:
I have to say, about half the episodes are straight-up terrifying – I'm talking to the point where I'm talking about demons. My fear of the dark got a lot worse, and even after the show ended, I'd be seeing those creepy creatures in my head for a while. It was pretty intense.I have to admit, the show gets pretty dragged out. I managed to make it through five seasons, but after watching the first episode of season six, I realized it was just going to be more of the same old thing, and I lost interest. It got to the point where it was just boring. It's pretty obvious that the show's formula is getting a bit stale. We always see the same thing – a murder at the beginning, the kids trying to figure out what's going on, and then they just drive off into the sunset at the end.A few episodes (1-2) were just plain terrible in terms of the concept. It was like they were trying to come up with something new, but it just didn't work out.I have to admit, the video quality wasn't always perfect. There were a few episodes where the video was choppy or hard to watch. But I'm not counting that as a major con. I just wanted to mention it because it was noticeable.
But now, let's talk about the good stuff.
🕷️PLUSSES OF THE SERIES:
It's seriously cool to learn about the lives of all these supernatural creatures, their goals, principles, personalities, and reasons for attacking or pursuing you. As you're watching, you're taking mental notes of what not to do to avoid trouble. Like, don't try to summon Bloody Mary in front of a mirror, and all that. Honestly, it's not clear if the supernatural even exists in real life. For me, though, this show has pretty much squashed any doubts I had about it. These supernatural creatures are super realistic, which makes it even creepier to watch. Mystery is my jam, and this show is seriously addictive and captivating. 🕷️THE VERDICT
I have to say, I really enjoyed watching Supernatural. The first 5 seasons are definitely worth 5 stars. And overall, the show is great (depending on how attached you are to it), but why did I end up quitting? To be honest, it just got boring, and I didn't want to put my nervous system through the wringer because some of the moments were seriously scary. Don't get me wrong, it's a great show, but it's not for the faint of heart. As for the creepiness factor, it's definitely there at times, but it's not over the top. I stopped watching because I loved the conclusion of season 5, and I didn't want to ruin my opinion of the show by forcing myself to keep watching.
If you're a fellow fanatic of all things supernatural like me, then Supernatural is a must-watch.
Thanks for sticking around!
