I arrived, and they settled me into a small room with four beds. The room had a sink and a mirror, and it was clean, but the furniture was old. I was a bit anxious, to be honest, but I tried to stay calm.
I checked in on Monday, and the surgery was scheduled for the next day. You can eat the entire day, but you can't eat or drink anything after dinner. In the morning, I had the operation. In the evening, they gave me a sleeping pill.

They took me to the ward. Nothing hurt yet. I felt great. I was told not to get up until dinner. Around 6 pm, I was forced to just lie there, still in my compression stockings. I was getting a bit hungry, to be honest.
They brought me this thing... um... a urinal? It was a bit awkward, but I appreciated the thought.
They brought me lunch. Despite the operation, I was still hungry. I was surprised by how much I could eat, to be honest.
And finally, dinner! After dinner, they allowed me to get up. Getting out of bed after the surgery was intimidating at first, but thankfully, I didn't feel any pain. It was a bit tender, but manageable.
They hooked me up to an IV in the evening, and I declined the pain meds. I wanted to see how my body would handle it.
I fell asleep quickly, and the night passed without any issues. No pain whatsoever. The next morning, I went for a post-op checkup, and the surgeon took a look at my stitches and gave me a thumbs-up.
They brought me a delicious breakfast. I was feeling a bit better, to be honest.
After the surgery, I spent another 2 days in the hospital before getting discharged. I took the bus home, and while the stitches were a bit tender, I didn't feel any pain. It was a bit of a relief, to be honest.
I was feeling a bit weak at home, slept a lot, and it took around 5-6 days for me to start feeling better. The weakness passed. I was able to move around without much discomfort.
On the 8th day after the surgery, I went to get my stitches removed. And finally, I was allowed to take a shower. After the shower, I applied green tea to my stitches. It was a bit of a process, but it felt good to be able to take care of myself.
Two weeks after the surgery, I was feeling great. No weakness, no pain. The stitches had flattened out, and they were no longer swollen. The bruises had faded. I was able to move around without any issues.

I was told to take it easy for 2 months. But it's recommended to avoid lifting heavy objects for at least 6 months. So, I've decided to quit my job as a delivery courier for Yandex Eda and Magenta, and I'll be looking for something less physically demanding, at least for now. It's been a bit of an adjustment, but I'm managing.
I've noticed the stitching is a bit loose, but I'm cutting myself some slack since it's still pretty new. Fingers crossed the weird sensations will fade away within the next six months. I'll be sure to update this review if anything changes.
