I recently had the chance to watch the latest release from the US - the movie 'Heads of State'.
Heads of State 2025The American president and the British prime minister can't stand each other. They couldn't resist trading barbs at their first joint press conference, so they decided to fly to the NATO summit together in the same plane to show the public their unity - but the bickering continued on board. Just then, a group of terrorists hired by a Russian arms dealer wanted by Interpol attacked the plane. Leaping out of the burning plane with parachutes, the heads of state plummeted somewhere in the Belarusian wilderness and now, to prevent the world from falling apart, they have to learn to work together.

What really caught my attention was the cast of actors in this movie. John Cena, who played the role of the American president, was definitely a highlight. Idris Elba, who played the role of the British Prime Minister, also delivered a solid performance.

I was really impressed with our Alexander Kuznetsov's (played Sasha in the movie) and his co-star Katrin Derden's (played Olga in the movie) performances. They played Russian hitmen.
And Paddy Considine, who played the Russian arms dealer Viktor Grudov. Russians in this film - EVIL.
Ingeborga Dapkunaite's cameo here is a far cry from her usual roles, and it's clear why she left the country. Compared to her usual depth, her character here is basically a one-liner. She's finally got a decent role, but it's still a far cry from what we're used to.
