Specifications
I've been a fan of Grass products in the past, but this Anti-rain stuff was a letdown. I've tried some of their other products and had decent results, but this one just didn't cut it. I was expecting a lot more from it, but it didn't deliver.
The bottle's a decent size, 250ml, which is good value for the price. And the color's pretty cool - it's this matte blue that looks really sharp.
This stuff is made in Russia, and it's got a three-year shelf life, which is a big plus. Mixing it with water is straightforward - you just need to mix one-third of the liquid with five liters of water and pour it into your windshield washer reservoir. So I was excited to put this stuff to the test, and I waited patiently for some rain. Finally, it showed up. But when I washed my windshield, it just got all streaky and didn't seem to be doing much of anything.
That was until I hit the highway, cruising at over 80 km/h with the rain coming down. Suddenly, water droplets were bouncing right off the glass like magic.
The thing is, this stuff only works when you're driving fast - above 80 km/h. That's not exactly my typical driving speed, since I'm usually stuck in city traffic. And even when I do get out to the country, the rain doesn't always come with me.
For me, this product is a total waste. And to make matters worse, the windshield and hood were all streaked and stained with bug splatters and dust. Good luck getting those off - it's a real pain.
Considering how it performed, I'd say it's not worth the money. I'd recommend looking elsewhere for a product that can handle city traffic.
