Editor's Summary
I'm not happy with my purchase of the GooJitZu Траш Deep Goo Sea. I waited a year to buy it, but it's been a total lemon. The build quality is subpar, and my kid broke it within hours. The battery life is also a letdown - it lasts barely an hour. I'm not impressed with the customer support either, as their response to my inquiry was pretty unhelpful. I guess you get what you pay for, but I still think it's overpriced. If you're looking for a toy that'll last, keep looking. I was initially put off by all the negative reviews, but the discounted price at Globus made it an easy sell. Fast forward to the first day of use, and I'm already regretting it. The toy is pretty to look at, I'll give it that, but that's about where the positives end. My kid loves the colors and design of the toy, but that's not enough to make up for its poor quality. It's relatively easy to assemble, which is a plus, but that's about it. The toy is lightweight, making it easy to carry around, and the packaging is pretty cool, with a nice design and all. But let's be real, those are just minor perks. Specifications
Hello everyone!
I'm sure many parents know about this toy, as it was heavily advertised first and then flooded all the kids' stores. My kid was begging me to buy it for ages, but every time I planned to get it for a special occasion, I'd stumble upon reviews saying it's prone to breaking, not worth the money, and so on. The overwhelmingly negative feedback put me off.
GooJitZu Траш Deep Goo Sea Fast forward to the day I finally bought it. My kid broke his arm and was stuck in the hospital for a few days, so I needed something to cheer him up. When we went to the Globus store, I spotted these GooJitZus right away. No more hesitation, and I was pleasantly surprised by the discount. The exact figure my kid wanted was on a crazy sale for 1500 rubles, which is a steal considering it's usually over 2000 in other places.I'm not exactly a connoisseur of replicas or originals, but judging by the packaging, this one seemed legit. It was wrapped in plastic just like the ones I've seen in American YouTube videos.
The figure was sealed in plastic from all sides, with a small hole in the center where you could touch it.
The back had a whole collection of other GooJitZu characters.
My kid was thrilled with the gift, but it was a bit tricky for him to play with one hand. So, I had to help him out.
While we were playing, we discovered some fun surprises inside the toy, but I'll get to that later!
First things first, let's talk about the quality.
We've had similar pull-along toys before, but not the original ones. Those were made of cheap silicone that would break easily within a month.
This GooJitZu, on the other hand, is made of incredibly dense silicone that actually holds up well. It's been a month now, and it's still in one piece – even our cat tried to chew on it, but no luck!
I was a bit skeptical about the head being made of plastic with painted details, but I was pleasantly surprised – it's held up really well. The teeth even have a bit of texture to them, which is a nice touch. I was 100% sure the paint would chip off quickly, but I was wrong again.
The yellow 'jacket' or 'vest' is also made of silicone and is easy to remove. It's actually really helpful for finding the hidden figures inside.
The toy itself is filled with these little silicone beads that are super satisfying to squish – it's actually a really great stress-reliever. But, unfortunately, they do break down quickly and turn into a weird silicone mush.
I'm not gonna lie, I was expecting this to happen, since I've had similar toys in the past that have fallen apart like this. But, despite the breakdown, the figure itself still looks great and feels nice to touch. Now, let's talk about what we found inside the shark – it's like a treasure hunt! The red fish is the easiest to find, then the octopus, and finally the pink eel. There's also this tiny yellow coral that's super hard to find, but it's a fun challenge.
The little figures are always on the move, jumping from the legs to the belly, back to the spine, and even the arms. It's a fun challenge to find them, and it's especially great for kids.
I'm really loving this little surprise – it's like a treasure hunt every time I play with it!
One downside is the weird, chemical-like smell that some people might find tolerable, but I'm not a fan of it. It's kinda like the smell of glue or something similar.
I've got to say, I'm pretty happy with my purchase. I'm convinced I got a quality toy, even if it's not the original. It's clear that whoever made it put some thought into it. I've seen some kids really rough it up, throwing it around and stomping on it, and then their parents are surprised when it breaks or cracks.
GooJitZu Траш Deep Goo Sea - ОтзывI've been trying to teach my kids to appreciate and take care of things from a young age, so my son was actually pretty gentle with this pull-along toy. He did stretch it a bit, but not too much, and he didn't throw it or jump on it.
Sometimes parents are quick to blame everyone else, but they don't notice the obvious. I'm not saying it's impossible that the toy was faulty, but seeing how rough some kids are with it, it's a miracle it lasted the whole day without breaking.
We're happy with our GooJitZu Траш Deep Goo Sea, and as long as you treat it gently, it should keep going strong for a while longer.
I hope my review was helpful. Thanks for reading!
