I picked up this product at a Letuial store for 257 rubles back in November 2025.
The product's volume is 360 ml.
Here's the ingredient list:
Aqua (Water, Eau) · Cetearyl Alcohol · Quaternium-87 · Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine · Dimethicone · Distearoylethyl Hydroxyethylmonium Methosulfate · Isopropyl Myristate · Hydrolyzed Silk · Sericin · Hydrolyzed Keratin · Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil · Citric Acid · Propylene Glycol · Polyquaternium-10 · Glycerin · Dimethiconol · Parfum (Fragrance) · Phenoxyethanol · Sodium Methylparaben · Limonene · Hexyl Cinnamal · Citronellol · Coumarin · Linalool
The product is made in Russia.
Here are the manufacturer's claims:
Hair becomes unmanageable and loses its shine due to damage. To restore the smoothness and silkiness of hair, a special care is needed. GLISS KUR SOFT CREAM provides:
• EASY COMBING
• HAIR SMOOTHNESS AND SHINE
• HAIR LIKE SILK
My personal experience with the product:
I bought this hair balm along with the GLISS KUR SOFT CREAM shampoo, which I've already written about. It's taken me a while to get around to reviewing the balm.
The packaging is a nice translucent plastic bottle with a reversed design in a soft pink color.
The brand has stuck to this design for ages now, only making minor tweaks to keep it recognizable among other products.By the way, the brand name is now written in Russian, but still in the same black font.
The product name is centered on the label, while the active ingredients – keratin and silk proteins – have really caught my attention lately, especially since I've been growing my hair out.
There's also a note at the bottom about the type of hair the product's intended for.
That's pretty much all the information you'll find on the front label. The back label is equally uneventful.
There's hardly any advertising copy, just a few words about why you should use the balm and what to expect.
The label does mention that the product is almost entirely natural, with 95% of its ingredients coming from natural sources – but don't expect the packaging to shout it from the rooftops. The product's volume is 360 ml, which is smaller than the 400 ml of the shampoo.
I've got to say, the cap is a solid flip-top design that keeps the whole thing stable. It opens and closes easily, but stays shut tight. The hole's just the right size, so I don't have any trouble squeezing out the balm. As for the color, it's a straightforward, no-frills white.
The consistency of this balm is really thick and dense - it holds its shape after squeezing out, so I don't end up with a messy glob. I like that I only need a little bit, and it distributes evenly through my hair. It's like my hair just devours it, and I find myself wanting to add more, but it's not necessary. The scent is a bit powdery and slightly sweet, but it's pretty neutral, if you ask me.
It washes out easily, without leaving that weird silicone residue. My hair's not overly frizzy, and my fingers don't get stuck in it like they do with some other products.
After blotting it with a towel, they look like
They're pretty smooth, but not silk-like, of course. There's a bit of shine, but it's not mirror-like. Next, I dry them with a diffuser and get the predictable results
My hair's always frizzy, but with this shampoo and balm combo, it's not as wild-looking as it is with other products. However, I don't leave it like that. I use a flat iron and get the predictable results
Now, I've got to explain why I called it the 'morning-after' balm. The thing is, it doesn't do much on its own - it's just a good conditioner that lets me comb through my hair without any tangles, and it doesn't make it frizzy. But it's got one valuable property for me: on the second day, my hair looks pretty 'normal'.
I've found that using this product allows me to go a day without washing my hair, which is a game-changer for a working woman like me. It's a huge time-saver, especially during the winter months when the commute to work takes longer due to the weather.
For me, the Gliss Kur Liquid Silk treatment has become a lifesaver when I don't feel like washing my hair every day, but still want to look put-together. However, it doesn't add any extra smoothness or shine to my hair. Since I use it 1-2 times a week (I have other shampoos, conditioners, and masks in my arsenal), it doesn't get boring with its decent but not amazing results. One interesting observation I've made is that my hair rarely gets along with products from the same line - often the shampoo works, but the conditioner from the same line dries out my hair. So, I end up using different shampoos and conditioners from different lines at the same time. In the case of the Liquid Silk line, both products work well together, even if they don't work any magic. For everyday use, when I just need clean, neat hair, this is a budget-friendly option.
