As I booked my appointment, I was impressed by the seamless communication and flexibility of the staff. They made sure to clarify all the details, including the time slot and the services I wanted to book. I opted for a manicure and pedicure, and I was excited to see how they would turn out.
The salon itself is a hidden gem. Located in the heart of Patriki, it's easily accessible and has a super chill atmosphere. The interior design is seriously on point, with clever ideas and fun little touches that make you feel like you're in a girls' night in paradise. From the workstations for the nail artists to the photo ops in the hallway, every detail has been thoughtfully considered to create a cozy and relaxing environment.
But what really sets Girl's Day apart is the exceptional service quality. The receptionists are super friendly and accommodating, and the administrators genuinely seem happy to see you. They greet you like an old friend, ask about the details of your appointment, and are always willing to lend a helping hand.
When it comes to pricing, I was a bit apprehensive at first. The prices are indeed a tad higher than usual, but I believe it's worth it for the quality and materials used. A standard manicure with gel polish (removal included) costs 2,800 rubles, a pedicure with gel polish is 3,500 rubles, and I opted for the manicure with a design from the collaboration with the design factory Flacon - it was 4,500 rubles. My design is called 'Around and About', and I was blown away by the variety of movie titles they referenced, from Surviving Love to Basic Instinct and even Girl with a Pearl Earring.
The quality of the work is exceptional, and I was impressed by the attention to detail. The girl who worked with me was incredibly fast and skilled - despite my complicated design, we managed to finish in an hour and a half, and each nail was done perfectly, from cuticles to shape to polish. I didn't feel any pain or discomfort during the pedicure - and my feet were super soft afterwards!
Besides the usual tea and coffee, which are now a given (except for the fact that the coffee was made with a fancy coffee machine using freshly ground beans), what impressed me were the little details - one-time toilet seat covers, and the option to choose a movie to watch (and I happened to pick 'Friends'). The chairs for manicures and pedicures are super comfy - my back doesn't ache and even after a few hours, my feet don't fall asleep.
So, to sum it up, I'd say the only downside to this place is its popularity (good luck getting an appointment, you have to catch the right time slots!). But trust me, it's worth the wait. Get ready for the most epic nail game!
