Hello everyone!
I've had my fair share of perfume encounters, but to be honest, I've never been a huge fan. That was until I tried Giorgio Armani's My Way line. I started with the classic version and then moved on to the Floral flanker. In this review, I want to dive deeper into the Floral version.

Packaging
***
I only have a small sample, but the packaging looks almost identical to the full-size product. The pink cardboard box is a nice touch.
The back of the box has all the essential information:
Inside, there's a picture of the bottle, which is super helpful if you receive a random sample and want to find the product later.
The sample itself is a simple plastic vial with a sprayer, making it easy to use.

Aroma, comparison with the classic version
***
I got introduced to the classic version of My Way by a colleague - she loved the scent. I somehow missed the opportunity to try it out and buy it when the brand was available in Minsk.
So, I started looking for samples, and the first one I found was the Floral version. They look pretty similar, so I didn't notice the difference right away. There's something common to both versions, and ultimately, I like both of them. But today, we're talking about the flanker, so let's dive deeper into its olfactory pyramid.
Top notes:
Orange Blossom, Green Mandarin, and Bitter Orange
The scent starts fresh, citrusy, and floral. For some reason, it reminds me of tea notes, especially if you add lemon or lime. Jasmine tea can sometimes smell similar, but this one is sweeter.
Middle notes:
Indian Tuberosa and Tunisian Neroli
The heart of the fragrance kicks in pretty quickly. Initially, neroli dominates, continuing the citrusy and floral direction. Then, a hint of green notes appears - that's the bouquet of white flowers with stems and leaves. As the tuberosa resonates, the scent becomes more dense, feminine, and floral. There's also a creamy undertone - that's probably why I love tuberosa (and white floral scents in general).
Base notes:
Bourbon Vanilla and White Musk
The base of the fragrance is quite soft and sweet. It doesn't lose its femininity and delicacy.
I have to say, the Floral version of this scent is a lot fresher and lighter than the classic My Way. But the DNA is undeniably the same.

Who's it for and when
***
This scent is the epitome of spring and femininity.
It's 100% a women's scent, I don't see it working on men, even as an experiment. And Armani does have a clear distinction between men's and women's fragrances, just like the good old days.
I think it's perfect for spring, maybe summer (but not in the scorching heat). In the cold months, I'm not a huge fan of the Floral version - it just doesn't feel right to me.
A little goes a long way, and it's suitable for daytime wear. It could also work for an evening look if it's kept light.
***
Longevity
***
The scent is beautiful, and not just for the wearer - the diffusion is really pleasant. There's a subtle trail, not too long, and I'd say it's light and delicate, like the finest silk.
Longevity-wise, it didn't blow me away, but I guess that's not surprising given how light it is. I get about 4 hours of scent from it, and then even close to my skin, it's almost undetectable.
***
Verdict
***
This is a lovely scent that evokes feelings of delicacy, spring, and beauty.
It may not be the longest-lasting, but it's definitely pleasant.
It's perfect for when you want to feel like a fragile girl, not the kind of woman who stops a charging horse.
I'd definitely recommend it.
