I have to admit, I was a bit particular about the color. At first glance, the glass seems transparent from all manufacturers, with the color listed as 'transparent'. But that's not entirely true. Transparent can have a range of undertones, from yellowish to bluish. Some people might not bother with this, but I did. Before making a purchase, I asked the seller if the tablecloth was completely transparent or had some undertones. They told me it was transparent. But when the tablecloth arrived, it had a greyish-blue undertone, which really bugged me. It ruins the look of the countertop and the entire interior. So, the surface of the table isn't beige, but rather has a weird blue-ish tint. But that's just my thing, I guess.

When I was researching, I found that for smooth countertop surfaces (glass and the like), a textured tablecloth is a better fit, as it provides better grip and prevents bubbles from forming on the surface. Our countertop is smooth and even, so if we get a smooth glass tablecloth, it'll bubble up. We need a textured tablecloth for our table.

We ordered the glass tablecloth slightly larger than the countertop size, as the material does shrink a bit. When we bought it, the glass tablecloth had a slightly uneven surface, which is understandable since it was rolled up. We laid it out and left it for a few days.

Overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase. Flexible glass for a student's table is a must-have. Maybe glass would've been a good option too, if it didn't stain like this flexible glass does.
RESULTS
One thing I really like about this liquid glass table cover is that it's a great way to protect the surface of my table. Yeah, it does lose its looks pretty quickly because it absorbs pen marks and can't be wiped clean. I'd probably need to replace it after a year or so, but that's still better than having to replace the whole table. From afar, you can't even tell that there's a tablecloth on there. Writing on this surface is also super convenient. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, the only thing is that I might opt for a different brand next time because of the blue-ish tint.
