Hello everyone!
I'm super excited to share my thoughts on the delicious protein cookie from FitnesShock with the 'Brownie Lemon-Mac' flavor.
I'm not entirely sure why they called it a brownie, but that's not really important to me.
This cookie caught my attention not only because of its unique flavor but also because it doesn't contain any sugar, which I try to avoid as much as possible.

Protein cookie FitnesSHOCK Lemon-mac - it's a soft lemon sponge cake with white chocolate chunks and macadamia nut filling, which adds an interesting texture to the brownie and makes it incredibly delicious. Sugar-free treats like these are a perfect option for those who love sweets but follow a healthy diet.
Packaging
The packaging is a bright yellow color, foil-wrapped, and features a very appetizing image of the cookie sliced in half, as well as a scoop of ice cream with macadamia nuts and lemon zest.
On the front, it's clear that the cookie doesn't contain sugar and has 15% protein.
The back of the packaging lists the ingredients, nutritional information, shelf life, manufacturer, and other details.
Ingredients
The ingredients list is quite long, but I'll break it down for you. The coating is made without added sugar, using maltitol, vegetable oil, dry skimmed milk, glycerin, soy lecithin, and a flavoring agent. There's also coconut oil, oat flour, drinking water, polydextrose, erythritol, almond flour, dry skimmed milk, food coloring, lemon zest, glycerin, whey protein concentrate, milk protein concentrate, egg white, sea salt, soy lecithin, a flavoring agent, potassium sorbate, citric acid, sodium bicarbonate, and turmeric as a coloring agent.
Nutritional Value
The nutritional value of 50g of this cookie is:
Protein: 7.5g,
Fat: 17g,
Carbohydrates: 10g,
Fiber: 5g.
The energy value (calories) of 50g is:
233 kcal.
Now, I know what you're thinking - 233 calories isn't exactly low, but it's not sky-high either. This cookie isn't exactly diet food. If you eat one of these, you'll need to hit the elliptical trainer for about 20 minutes to burn off those calories.
There's a decent amount of fat in this cookie, but not a lot of carbs.
Appearance and Taste
The aroma of this cookie is pleasant, reminiscent of a lemon cake.
The cookie is round and relatively small in size, not unlike a Choco-Pie, but with a white coating instead.
The coating is not too thick.
Inside, the biscuit has a yellowish hue with macadamia nut chunks.
I enjoyed the taste of this cookie.
It's not dry, so you can eat it with a cup of tea or on its own.
The coating is decent, not exactly chocolate, but not a plastic-like substance either.
The texture is light and airy, with a delicate lemon flavor. It's not dry or tough, and it's only slightly crumbly, which isn't a major issue. In terms of taste and aroma, it's similar to a lemon pound cake. Plus, there are lemon candies scattered throughout, but they're not overdone.
The biscuit is sweet, but not overly so - it's just right. The oat flakes add a nice crunch.
I couldn't taste any artificial sweeteners.
And honestly, if I didn't know it was a sugar-free protein cookie, I wouldn't have guessed.
This is a really pleasant lemon-flavored biscuit.
My Verdict
I really enjoyed the Protein Brownie Lemon Oat.
It's probably the tastiest protein cookie I've tried so far.
But the price is steep for such a small cookie.
And the protein content is a bit low - 7.5g.
So, I'd recommend it, but don't eat too many in one sitting. Although it's not as calorie-dense as regular sugar-laden biscuits, one cookie a day is still plenty.
PLUSES
It tastes great. It's not as calorie-heavy as regular pastries.MINUSES
The price.
