A Nightmare of Misleading Pricing and Ripping Off Customers
I'm writing this review as a warning to others: Fitmost has officially lost its way. I've been a customer for years, but my recent experience has left me speechless.
When issues pop up, I usually reach out to their support team first. They're usually on it, resolving the problem quickly and in the customer's favor, especially if it's a service-related issue.
But my latest encounter with Fitmost has been a total disaster. I booked a haircut at a studio I've visited multiple times before. The studio has multiple stylists with varying prices based on their qualifications. Fitmost uses a point system, which is now transitioning to rubles. I'll write the prices in rubles with points in parentheses for clarity.
The stylist's services cost 1010 rubles (13 points) and 1600 rubles (20 points) at the studio. I booked the 1010 ruble (13 points) service. The appointment time and price were displayed on the screen.
I pointed out the 1010 ruble (13 points) service, but they went ahead and charged me for the more expensive one.
The service was provided without any issues, but here's the thing: 1600 rubles (20 points) were deducted from my account instead of 1010 rubles (13 points).
I checked the Fitmost website again to confirm the stylist's point value. The price remained the same as when I booked the appointment – 13 points for the service. If calculated in rubles, it's still 1010 rubles.
I thought it was a technical glitch and that the extra points would be refunded. I contacted support, expecting them to resolve the issue and return the points to my account.
But nope, they responded saying that the deducted amount is a combination of the service and the stylist's fee. They told me that the 20 points were correctly deducted and can't be refunded.
I'm still trying to wrap my head around this. As a customer, I just want to know how the price is formed. I expect to be told the price upfront, and then I decide whether to go ahead or not.
I booked a service that cost 1010 rubles (13 points) and was confirmed. But I wasn't informed that 20 points would be deducted.
I'm writing a complaint, and Fitmost is still fighting me on it.
They responded again, saying everything was deducted correctly.
I'm going to send them a screenshot from their website, which shows the rates for the master I booked with. And it says 13 points.
They asked me to wait, and someone from the customer support team would get back to me. I was feeling hopeful, thinking that everything would get sorted out, and justice would be served.
But nope, they sent me a response saying 'we deducted the correct amount, 13 points is the price for a different master.'
Fitmost has surprised me again, and unfortunately, it's not in a good way. Come on, guys.
I booked the service through you, and it costs 13 points on your website. Meanwhile, their user agreement explicitly states:
I chose a product that costs 13 points. Why is their system glitching and deducting a different amount? If the price for this master has increased, update the website, don't mislead customers about the price.
The service should be provided at the price advertised. This is a matter of consumer rights!
But Fitmost doesn't care about laws or customers.
What's also worth noting is the level of customer service. They're fighting for 7 points, which is less than 600 rubles.
Their system is set up so that points expire after 30 days. Unused points burn out. Sometimes it's hard to use up all your points within a month, and some are left over.
I had it all calculated, if they deducted 7 points, I could have gone for another workout and used up the remaining points. But they deducted 20 points, leaving me with 3 points, which are now gone, essentially a gift to Fitmost, since they're my money.
I'm convinced that this is a clear violation of my consumer rights. I wanted to write to Rospotrebnadzor and take them to court.
But honestly, who cares what your friends think? Do you really want to take a stand and write a complaint? Or just give up?
I mean, it's not like we want to waste our time. They're profiting off this, and they're doing it with a clear conscience, while they're actually violating people's rights.
I've been a loyal customer for years, but this experience has left me feeling betrayed. I urge everyone to be cautious when using Fitmost's services. Don't get caught off guard like I did.
It's time for Fitmost to take responsibility for their actions and make things right. Until then, I'll be sharing my story with anyone who will listen.
Fitmost, you've lost a customer. But more importantly, you've lost my trust.
I hope that by sharing my experience, I can prevent others from going through the same nightmare.
