Fir Paw Garland: 600 LEDs That'll Steal the Show!

Every year, I try to bring something new to my home's New Year's decor - window stickers, candles, garlands. This year, I discovered a new type of garland - the 'Fir Paw' curtain garland. On one window in my living room, I've had a curtain-garland with a warm light all year round. And only when I hung the 'Fir Paw' on the second window did I realize how puny that 'rose' garland was.

For a change of pace, I chose a cold-toned 'paw' to mix with the warm light and create a more natural ambiance, rather than a strongly yellow or too white one.

For my living room, I always go with a 3x2 meter size because the moldings are exactly 3 meters, and there are tables and sofas below, so there's no point in getting a 3-meter length. And a 2-meter length just ends a bit below the table, which is convenient. Plus, my robot vacuum won't yank the garland off the molding with it).

I ordered it on WB for 920 rubles, now it's 880 rubles.

The box is a sturdy cardboard that won't get damaged during delivery and will last for a long time as storage.

DEVICE GARLAND-CURTAIN

The base is a horizontal transparent wire from which 12 'paws' hang vertically.

'Paws' are strips of wire with LEDs attached.

Arrangement - uniform, spacing between hangers is about 15 cm

The wire is silver, thin, but dense, adding a shine and blending in with the window. The clips are without glue, and when my son came, he didn't even notice that something was hanging).

The quality of the materials pleased me: the LEDs are tightly inserted and don't wobble. The connections and construction are strong and reliable - nothing fell off, didn't smell, and didn't catch fire).

One thing that really impressed me was how well-packaged this thing was – every wire was neatly coiled and untangled.

Mounting the Fairy Lights

1. I clipped the top wire onto the curtain rod. For now, I just placed it on the rod's holders so I could easily open and close the curtains. I might add some extra tape for extra security, but it looks good as is.

2. I unfolded the wire 'feet'. It's easy – just gently pull the bottom end and adjust as needed if any parts got out of place.

3. My outlet is 2 meters above the floor, and the fairy light cord is only 1 meter long. For now, I'm using a regular extension cord. Soon, I'll get a specialized one for fairy lights so it reaches the outlet.

Mounting time: 10 minutes!

Light, Exterior Look

8 modes on the remote: I prefer constant light – it doesn't flicker or overwhelm my senses. Occasionally, I use the fading mode. For those who like more active modes, there's plenty of options.

Light characteristics:

Color: cold white (like frost on a windowpane). I've been dreaming of cold sparkles for ages, although I love warm, cozy light, but it can get old.

Brightness: adjustable from soft glow to bright shine

Effect: vertical stripes created by multiple LEDs (not just a single 'glow') give the illusion of pine branches, and overall volume.

It shines really brightly! Half the living room is perfectly lit. For movie nights and quiet tea parties – it's perfect! And you can adjust the brightness.

Now, the second window is my new favorite nightlight-lamp. The fairy lights light up the room so well that I almost stopped using the main lighting in the evenings.
