Hello everyone!
About two years ago, my kid and I stumbled upon a brand new Russian animated series that really caught our attention. We were both hooked from the very beginning.
Storyline
“Fairy Tales” is a Russian animated series created by the animation studio “Agama Film”, aimed at any audience. It premiered in October 2019 and is broadcast on channels like “Carousel”, “Mult”, and others.
This show came out in 2019 and it's suitable for anyone - kids, teenagers, and even adults. I had some friends over, a young couple in their twenties, and they were all really interested in watching it. The show really captured their attention, and there was no complaining about it being too childish. Fairy Tales is an awesome show that's definitely worth checking out.
In the series, we're introduced to five fairies - Teacher Terzia and her students Bukovka, Drem, Fantik, and Businka. They live with a human family and secretly help a teenage girl named Kate learn magic while also learning themselves.
The opening scene really gets me - that catchy tune sticks in your head and you find yourself singing it all day. Check out how beautifully they've done the animation. It's bright and stunning.
These pictures are just amazing, especially set to the show's catchy music.
TercesOur teacher for the fey, Terces is a strict but loving and caring figure. She's always there to lend a helping hand. Terces is the fey of manifestation, and she's incredibly powerful and magical, even at her young age of around 18.
In the early episodes, Terces is very mysterious and keeps to herself. We barely know anything about her, except for making some educated guesses.
Here's Terces' greeting.
Hello! I'm Terces, the fey of time, and heir to the Fey Kingdom. What I love most in the world is precision and neatness. And, of course, I'm also a very powerful fey - I can manipulate time and even turn it back for a short while!
DrömeDröme is our rebellious teenager, around 16 years old. She's the fey of dreams and knows the language of the moon. Dröme is stubborn and sometimes even grumpy. She loves to say things like 'Fey-ki-ley' and 'Fey-nik-cofey-nik'.
I've got to say, Drema gets along great with the elf Eklar. Eklar's a total narcissist, but for some reason, Drema loves him. They're just so adorable together.
Dremas' greeting is just too cute.
Hello! I'm Drema, the dream fairy. I love listening to music, teasing my friends, and messing around with my dreamcatcher, which I use to create dreams. I'm really into ancient history and legends, and I'm also fascinated by the night world and lunar magic!
BeadOur Bead is the beauty fairy and a science beauty blogger. It was Bead who introduced Drema and Eklar. Bead used to be a huge fan of Eklar. Bead is a kind and gentle fairy.
I've got a twin sister, Bukovka, who's about 10 or 11 years old.
Bukovka's greeting is pretty cool.
Hi! I'm Bukovka, the beauty fairy. My favorite things in life are reading glossy magazines, keeping up with fashion, and listening to news on Fey.NET. I also love parties and dancing! The most important thing is that everything around me is beautiful and magical!
BukovkaMy sister Bukovka is a total opposite of me. She's the smartest fairy in our group, loves conducting experiments, and always seeks the truth. Sometimes her thoroughness gets on Terzia's nerves.
Bukovka gets along great with Digit, Eckler's friend.
Meet Bukuwka, the Knowledge Fairy.
Bukuwka here - I'm the Knowledge Fairy. My ultimate goal in life is to understand everything, learn as much as I can, and make a groundbreaking scientific discovery. I'm a huge fan of conducting experiments, and thanks to my X-ray vision, I can see right through things! Plus, I can fix anything!
Fairy Meet Fairy, a six-year-old little fairy. She's small, kind, and gentle. Fairy is a responsible zoologist.
Meet Fairy's greeting.
Hello! I'm Fairy, the Friendship Fairy. My favorite things in life are candies, games, and parties. I also love helping others! I can communicate with objects and even bring them to life! My main goal is to make sure everyone gets along and doesn't fight.
I highly recommend checking out Feerinki. It's a great Russian animated film that's sure to delight kids with its catchy fairy songs.
I'll leave a link here to watch Feerinki.
Feerinki teaches kids about the importance of friendship, family values, and doing the right thing.
Tertia shows kids the value of taking responsibility for others.
Enjoy the show!
Thanks for reading my review. Wishing you all the best, love, and happiness!
