Makfa Cream & Almond Milk Solid Soap
Household Chemistry

Makfa Cream & Almond Milk Solid Soap

This solid soap from Makfa is a total game-changer for dry skin - it's like a drink of water for my parched skin. The combo of cream and almond milk is pure magic, leaving my skin feeling ridiculously soft and clean. Plus, it's gentle enough for daily use, which is a total win in my book. I've put it to the test on my own skin, and it's been a lifesaver on dry days when my skin feels like the Sahara desert. The best part? It's a breeze to use and doesn't leave any residue behind, so I can just rinse and go.

check_circlePros

  • The soap bars are a decent size at 70 grams each.
  • You can find Fax soap easily at major retail chains like Magnum.
  • The shelf life of 3 years is pretty standard for most soaps.
  • The transparent plastic wrap packaging is standard, but it gets the job done.
  • The price of 227 rubles without discounts is pretty standard for a soap bar.
  • The weight of 280 grams is a bit on the heavier side, but not necessarily a bad thing.

cancelCons

  • The build quality of the soap bars is really disappointing – the packaging feels cheap and flimsy.
  • The soap bars themselves are just okay – they don't leave my skin feeling particularly clean or refreshed.
  • The manufacturing location of Russia doesn't really add any value to the product.
  • The packaging is pretty standard, but it's not exactly exciting.
  • The value for money is not great, considering the subpar build quality and average performance.
  • The soap bars tend to dry out quickly and lose their effectiveness.

Editor's Summary

I was really looking forward to trying Fax soap, especially since it's super affordable and comes in a generous 4-bar pack. Unfortunately, my experience was a letdown. The soap bars themselves are just okay – they don't leave my skin feeling particularly clean or refreshed. The build quality is subpar, with flimsy packaging and a lackluster design. I'd say the value for money is not great, considering the average performance and poor build quality. You can find similar soap bars at a similar price point with better build quality.

Hello everyone!

I was initially drawn to Fax soap by its low price and generous packaging, but unfortunately, my experience was a letdown.

Key details:

Price - 227 rubles without discounts. That's a pretty standard price for a soap bar. Weight - 280 grams. It's a bit on the heavier side, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Manufacturing - Russia. I'm not sure if that's a selling point or not. Shelf life - 3 years. That's a decent shelf life, I suppose. Where to buy? Magnum and other major retail chains. You can find it pretty easily.

Packaging is pretty standard - transparent plastic wrap. Inside, you'll find 4 identical chunks of soap, each weighing 70 grams. Everything's sealed tightly.

Description:

The soap has a creamy texture and is gentle on the skin, leaving it feeling soft and smooth. It's suitable for daily use by the whole family, but that's about it.

Ingredients:

Sodium palmate, aqua, sodium palm kernelate, calcium carbonate, glycerin, sodium chloride, parfum, prunus amygdalus dulcis extract, sodium PCA, xanthan gum, sodium hydroxide, tetrasodium EDTA, tetrasodium etidronate, phenoethanol, potassium sorbate, amyl cinnamal, citronellol, coumarin, hexyl cinnamal, hexamethylindanopyran, tetramethyl acetyloctahydronaphthalenes, trimethylbenzene propanol, evernia prunastri extract, CI 77891.

Appearance:

The soap bar has a simple design. Both sides feature the brand name. The shape is rectangular with rounded corners.

Texture

I was pleasantly surprised by how dense the soap is - it doesn't melt in your hands. It feels really comfortable to hold and is one of the better aspects of this soap.

Scent

There's no almond smell at all - it's just a creamy, neutral scent, like cheap soap. It's not unpleasant, but it's not exactly exciting either. I can feel it on my skin for about 10 minutes after washing.

Foaming

The soap creates a really thick, rich lather. It works way better in warm water than cold water - in cold water, the lather is much thinner and less abundant.

Cleaning power

I'm not super picky about soap, but Fax Minadale milk soap didn't win me over. It cleans okay, but its main problem is that it dries out and tightens your skin. After washing, I felt a strong discomfort. The tightness is especially noticeable on the back of my hand and between my fingers. My skin feels thin and unpleasant to the touch. I don't want to use this soap after that.

Before and After Using the Soap

I didn't notice any visual difference, but the feel after washing was pretty unpleasant.

Usage Rate

The soap bar lasted me at most a week, which is pretty quick. I'd expect a bit more value for money from a product like this.

Verdict

This isn't even a 'cream soap' - it's just your average stuff. Given how it dries out my skin, I'd give it a low score. The shipping was fine, but that's about it.

Thanks for Reading!
