Farmstay Cherry Blossom Hand Cream

I've got dry hands, and I'm guessing you do too. That's why I love Farmstay's Cherry Blossom Hand Cream. It's a game-changer for rough, cracked hands. This rich, nourishing cream is packed with quality ingredients that really deliver. I've used it for a week, and the results are amazing - my hands feel soft and supple, not dry and rough. Plus, it's a great value for money. You get what you pay for, and in this case, it's a whole lot of moisturizing goodness. Say goodbye to dry, cracked hands and hello to smooth, healthy-looking skin with Farmstay's Cherry Blossom Hand Cream.

A Disappointing Hand Cream with a Lovely Cherry Blossom Scent

summarizeEditor's Summary

I picked up a few face creams in South Korea and thought, why not grab a hand cream too? Among the ones on display at the store, I saw the Farmstay Pink Flower Blooming Hand Cream Cherry Blossom and decided to give it a try. The hand cream came in a white cardboard box with a picture of pink flowers, which was a nice touch. However, the actual product didn't quite live up to my hopes. The scent is lovely, a sweet and subtle cherry blossom fragrance that's really pleasant to use. But the formula is where things go wrong - it's thin and lacks a rich, creamy texture that would help to lock in moisture. I've been using it for a week now, and I'm still not impressed with the moisturizing power. The price is around 200 rubles, which is a bit steep for what you get. I picked up a few face creams in South Korea and thought, why not grab a hand cream too? Among the ones on display at the store, I saw the Farmstay Pink Flower Blooming Hand Cream Cherry Blossom and decided to give it a try.
\xa0
So, here's my review of the Farmstay Pink Flower Blooming Hand Cream Cherry Blossom.
Hand Cream Farmstay Pink Flower Blooming Hand Cream Cherry Blossom - reviewPrice: around 200 rubles.
Manufacturer: South Korea
Place of purchase: All Mask Story store in South Korea
Where to buy here: WB, ozon (from 255 rubles)
\xa0
Packaging.
The hand cream came in a white cardboard box with a picture of pink flowers. On one side of the box, there's a description of the types of flowers in the line of hand creams with rose petal extract:
I have the cherry blossom, but there's also rose lotus, water lily, and pink rose.
\xa0
A small warning in English and Korean about symptoms like redness or itching, and to stop using the cream and see a doctor right away.
The cherry blossom extract has a toning effect, helps skin retain moisture, protects it from dryness, tightness, and flaking.
\xa0
On the back of the box, there's a description of the cream, its usage, and ingredients.
\xa0
The same information is duplicated on the back of the tube.
\xa0
The cream comes in a small 100ml tube, which is great for taking to work as it doesn't take up much space.
\xa0
The tube has a wide screw-top lid that allows you to stand the tube upright.
\xa0
Under the lid is a foil seal to protect it from opening.
Who's it for?
The cream is suitable for all skin types.
I've been using this hand cream for a while now, and its main focus is on moisturizing, nourishing, and hydrating my skin.
The manufacturer claims that the cherry blossom extract in the cream helps with various irritations, removes dryness, and soothes and smooths out my skin.
Farmstay Pink Flower Blooming Hand Cream Cherry Blossom - reviewTexture and scent.
As soon as I open the tube, I'm hit with a subtle cherry blossom aroma. It reminds me of the scent you'd find in a blooming cherry blossom garden, which we stumbled upon in South Korea. This fragrance is hard to put your finger on, but it's really pleasant.
The cream has a light, gel-like consistency that I really like.
The cream glides smoothly onto my skin, leaving no residue or stickiness behind.
Here's a breakdown of the ingredients:
niacinamide (skin tone evening and brightening),adenosine (smoothing out fine lines),hyaluronic acid (intensive moisturizing),vitamin E (antioxidant protection, preventing premature skin aging).\xa0
My skin.
I have extremely dry skin on my hands, which gets even worse after every trip and becomes super rough and unpleasant to look at. The old skin flakes off, and it's a long process. Applying a hand cream is a must for me, especially after washing my hands.
Throughout the day, I try to apply the cream to the top part of my hands, avoiding my fingers and palms to just moisturize and remove dry patches.
\xa0
Results.
I had high expectations for this hand cream, given it's from Korea and I assumed it would deliver. But I didn't take into account that even in Korea, there's a range of skincare products available, and Farmstay is more of a mass-market brand. So, I shouldn't have expected too much.
The cream's light texture and quick absorption are definite plus points for me. I like that it's not greasy or sticky, and I can use it without feeling like I'm leaving a residue on my skin.
\xa0
It doesn't leave any residue or stickiness behind, and I can use it without feeling like I'm leaving a film on my skin. I can even use it a few minutes before handling documents or typing on my keyboard, and it doesn't leave any marks or residue behind.
I have to say, my skin just sucks it all up in an instant, leaving nothing behind. I even tried applying a second layer five minutes later, and the same thing happened.
And the best part is, I didn't get any streaks on my hands like I do with cheaper creams when I apply too much of them.
\xa0
As soon as I applied the cream, my skin felt super hydrated. All the dry patches smoothed out, and my skin looked normal again. The tightness was gone.
But what I didn't like was that the cream only worked for 20-30 minutes. After that, my skin was back to its usual dry self. It was like I hadn't even used the cream at all. The dryness came back, and I was left with nothing.
So, basically, you can apply it throughout the day to keep your skin looking decent, but there's no long-term effect. It's a nice-looking result for about 20-30 minutes.
\xa0
I took these photos of the cream for my face, and you can see how terrible my hands looked before applying the cream:
After applying, things looked a bit better, but only temporarily.
\xa0
It's clear that using this cream at night for long-term hydration isn't the way to go. But if you take it to work and apply it throughout the day to keep your skin looking normal until your skin recovers from the sun damage, that's a different story. The cream won't leave any residue on paper or keyboards.
Since I usually buy creams for their long-term effects, not short-term ones, I wouldn't recommend the Farmstay Pink Flower Blooming Hand Cream Cherry Blossom even though it's a great product.
