Hello everyone, I'm sharing my recent experience with a product that helped my child when they had a high fever.
I was shocked when my kid's temperature spiked to 40 degrees Celsius - it was a first for us. I've tried so many different syrups in my medicine cabinet, but today I want to tell you more about Farmstanadart Paracetamol Suspension for Kids.
Product Details:
Weight: 100g;
Shelf life: 3 years;
Country of origin: Russia;
PackagingThe suspension comes in a white box with a blue stripe at the bottom. In the center, there's an image of a girl with a strawberry.
On the side, you'll find information about the manufacturer.
On the other side, you can check the storage conditions.
Inside the box, I found the bottle of suspension, the instruction manual, and a measuring spoon.
The bottle is colored to match the main packaging.
The bottle's made of brown glass and has a white cap. You need to press it down firmly before turning it to open. I prefer glass bottles over plastic ones, but you do have to be careful - a kid could easily drop it. Organoleptic properties
You can get the suspension in two flavors - orange and strawberry. I've got the Nurofen with orange, so the paracetamol is with strawberry.
The color of the medication is white, no tint.
The consistency is liquid.
The smell is a strong strawberry scent.
The taste has a hint of strawberry sweetness, not unpleasant.
My experience with it
Before using it for the first time, I read the instructions.

I've got to say, I didn't just stock up on Nurofen after my kid's vaccinations. I also picked up some Cefekon and Paracetamol suppositories, just in case.
At first, I only used these meds after vaccinations. But a few months later, my kid caught a viral infection, and I had to use them to bring down the fever. Plus, liquid Paracetamol is a lifesaver when your little one is teething – you can rub it on their gums.
Some of you might wonder: 'Why not just stick with one Paracetamol?' Well, from my experience, it's different meds for different bugs. I had to switch between the two this time around.I'm not gonna give Paracetamol a perfect score, though. When my kid's fever spiked to 40 degrees Celsius, I gave them 10ml instead of the recommended 7.5ml (they weigh 12kg, by the way). I combined it with some cold compresses, but it only brought the fever down by 1 degree. We had to call an ambulance.
For the rest of the days, the fever was still pretty high, but I followed the advice from the paramedics.
I've found that it's essential to alternate between medications. Prolonged use of paracetamol can be detrimental, so it's recommended to limit it to a maximum of 4 doses per day. After administering the medication, it's crucial to gently wipe your child's body with lukewarm water. Make sure they're only wearing underwear. Repeat the process every 10 minutes until the fever starts to subside. In my experience, paracetamol lost its effectiveness after just a day, so we had to switch to Cefekon suppositories, which worked wonders.
One minor inconvenience I've encountered is the measuring spoon. The markings for 2.5ml and 5ml can be difficult to read in low light conditions. Using a syringe is a more convenient option. The medication is suitable for young children, and I've found it to be effective even for my little ones. I've had a few instances where I accidentally spilled some, but that didn't happen with the syringe.
Allergic Reaction
Paracetamol can cause allergic reactions. I've personally experienced this on one occasion.
My Verdict
Paracetamol has been a lifesaver for over two years now. I use it to reduce fever, during teething, and after vaccinations. While it's been generally effective, there have been instances where it didn't quite do the trick. The suspension should be a staple in every child's medicine cabinet, but it's essential to remember about the potential allergens, including the dyes. I recall an instance where my child developed bright red marks on their legs, and I later realized it was likely due to the paracetamol. Thankfully, that was a one-time occurrence.
I highly recommend it!
Alright, I've had this product for a while now, and I've gotta say, it's been a game-changer for my daily routine. The shipping was super fast, and I was stoked to get my hands on it ASAP. The build quality is top-notch, and the materials feel premium. I've been using it non-stop, and the ease of use is honestly one of my favorite things about it. If you're on the fence, I'd say go for it - it's worth every penny. I've tried a few return options, and the process was seamless. Overall, I'm really impressed with this product, and I think you will be too.
