Faberlic's O Feerique Belle Perfume Falls Flat Due to Its Shockingly Short Longevity
check_circlePros
- The packaging is nice, I'll give them that.
- The scent is pleasant, if a bit too sweet for my taste.
- You can get a 15ml mini version for a low price, so it's not a total loss if you don't like it.
- The production is France, which is a plus.
- You can order it online with ease.
- The tester is a good idea, but it's only a few ml for around 60 rubles.
cancelCons
- The longevity is absolutely not what I expected – it's gone in a few hours.
- The scent is not what I'd call sophisticated.
- It's not worth the money, especially considering the quality.
- I've had better luck with other perfumes in this price range.
- The build quality is lacking, in my opinion.
- The customer support is non-existent, at least for me.

Editor's Summary
I've been experimenting with Faberlic's perfumes for years, but their latest release, O Feerique Belle, is a total letdown. The longevity is shockingly short – I'm talking hours, not days. I've had better luck with their lipsticks, but even those are hit-or-miss. The packaging is nice, I'll give them that, and the scent is pleasant, if a bit too sweet for my taste. However, it's not worth the money, especially considering the quality. I've had better luck with other perfumes in this price range, and the build quality is lacking, in my opinion. If you're looking for a perfume that'll last all day, keep looking. I'm starting to lose faith in Faberlic's quality.
Specifications
Hello, lovely readers.
I've had a complicated relationship with Faberlic - it's been a long time coming to an end. Now I understand why their products are so cheap in the catalogues. The quality of their products is far from ideal. I've been trying to get into this cosmetics line for years, but I just can't seem to make it work. At first, I didn't like their lipsticks, and now even their perfume isn't for me - most of the scents just don't cut it.
I recently ordered a nice perfume water with zero staying power. Well, at least it's great that I can order a 15ml version at a super low price to try out the scent without committing to a full-sized bottle. By the way, the tester is around 60 rubles for a few ml, while the 15ml mini version costs up to 200 rubles.

PACKAGING, DESIGN
The little bottle is nicely packaged in a powder-colored cardboard box with black lace: it perfectly captures the essence of this scent. Black lace on smooth young skin!
The atomizer sprays the water nicely. I only need one or two spritzes to get into this scent.
But will it last long?
On the box, it's mentioned that the scent is made in France.

SCENT DESCRIPTION
Pyramid
This fragrance is a pyramid of notes...
Top notes: pink pepper, green mandarin, Nashi pear, kalamansi
Heart notes: cherry blossom, jasmine, honeysuckle, heliotrope
Base notes: musk, amber, vanilla cream
The fragrance kicks off with a juicy Nashi pear and a spicy kick from the pink pepper, followed by a tangy accent from the kalamansi. It's a bit of a mishmash, but it sounds surprisingly original. I'm not getting any freshness from the green mandarin, though.
Exactly 10-15 seconds in, the jasmine, honeysuckle, and cherry blossom bloom in a beautiful, yet restrained bouquet with a delicate milky undertone that quickly gives way to a gorgeous creamy base. The floral notes are handled expertly, drawing you in and captivating everyone around. They work incredibly well together.
In the end, I get a musky-vanilla cocktail. It's a lovely vanilla-milky pudding. From the start of the fragrance to its final note, it's a mere 30 seconds. Why bother with such an interesting pyramid if the end result is a standard complementary base?

DURATION
It's absolutely not long-lasting: it lasts for a maximum of 30 minutes, and I need to reapply it after that.

MY IMPRESSIONS
My friend had the 'Beauty cafe' fragrance, which sounded incredibly tempting on her, but it just didn't suit me. At the time, I ordered a few sample perfumes from Faberlic, and in some of them, I caught a similar base note, reminiscent of something zesty and musky. I couldn't wear it on myself and stopped looking at Faberlic perfumes after that.
Now, I'm craving variety, but I don't want to order big perfume bottles because the scents get old too quickly. So, when my friend suggested I look at the Faberlic catalog, I ordered the 'O Feerique Belle' fragrance because it sounded similar to another one of my favorite catalog scents.
I'm not blown away by this scent. I can see the Faberlic touch, as I've seen something similar in their 'Beauty cafe', 'Valentin Yudashkin' series... and maybe one of their other bottles.
When I smell this scent, I immediately think of a young girl who wants to seem like a confident, carefree woman. This scent is definitely seductive and you won't go unnoticed. With its obvious erotic undertones, it feels like it's infused with molecules of love and euphoria. It sounds classy, expensive, and really impressive for a catalog perfume.
They tried to cater to women and girls in the 18-45 age range. I'd recommend it for women in their 40s who want to seem younger.
It's perfect for a night out or a special occasion. I'm glad I got the mini version because it wore off on me within a week. I loved it at first, but then I had to wait a long time for it to fade away.
Personally, I won't be buying this again, but I'll use up the remaining amount to fragrance my handbag or makeup case. It's perfect for those items, but even there, it didn't last long.

FINAL VERDICT
Faberlic's O Feerique Belle perfume was a huge disappointment due to its awful longevity. I wouldn't recommend buying it.
