Faberlic All-in-One Dishwasher Tablets

I've been using these tablets for a week now, and I'm really impressed with how easy they make cleaning my dishes. They're super effective at tackling tough food residue, and my dishes come out sparkling clean every time. One of the things I love about them is that they're perfect for busy households who don't want to spend hours scrubbing away at stuck-on messes. They offer great value for money, and the convenience of not having to deal with messy dish soap is a huge plus. I've noticed that they work well with my Faberlic dishwasher, and the results are consistently impressive. Whether you're dealing with grease, food particles, or just everyday grime, these tablets get the job done with ease.

My Big Disappointment with Faberlic Dishwasher Tablets - A Honest Review

summarizeEditor's Summary

I recently tried Faberlic dishwasher tablets, but unfortunately, they didn't live up to my expectations. The high cost for a small quantity was a major turn-off, and the 'all-in-one' promise wasn't fulfilled when I used them without rinse aid and salt. The results were lackluster, with streaks and a lack of shine on glassware. I've had better experiences with other brands, like Somat tablets, which deliver excellent cleaning without the drawbacks. If you're in the market for a reliable dishwasher tablet, I'd recommend exploring other options before settling on Faberlic. I loaded the dishwasher with a full load of dishes, including a skillet, a glass baking dish, an aluminum baking sheet, cups, and plates. The glass baking dish had a lot of grease residue left behind, and the aluminum baking sheet had some burnt-on food. The regular plates came out sparkling clean, but the colored plates didn't quite get the same level of shine. The glassware, on the other hand, lacked the shine it's known for, and there were some streaks left behind. I've got something to compare it to, and I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that the Faberlic tablets aren't perfect - they leave streaks and lack the shine of glass, which is a drawback. The tableware had the same issue - no shine, just streaks. And to make matters worse, these are brand new utensils, barely used, and they still manage to sparkle with other dishwasher tablets. The aluminum baking dish, however, came out sparkling clean, no residue or streaks left behind. The tablets did an excellent job of tackling the grease.

Hello there!
I'm not even kidding, I don't know how I managed without a dishwasher before. It was just sitting in the box, waiting for the kitchen renovation to be done. And now that it's finally up and running, I started looking for the perfect tablets for my dishwasher.
I picked some up from Faberlic during my last shopping trip. The idea of 'all-in-one' sounded really appealing.
Tabs come in a bright cardboard package with a shiny image of clean dishes, a description of the product, its use, and benefits. Each package contains 20 tabs, weighing 20g. The cost is a bit steep considering the quantity. 🔻Cost: 459 rub.
🔻So, what does the manufacturer promise:
One tab replaces all necessary products for the dishwasher, including salt and rinse aid;Effectively removes dried stains and burnt-on food;Takes care of tea, coffee, and lipstick stains;Eliminates lingering unpleasant odors;Leaves dishes sparkling and shining;Doesn't leave any residue;Prevents glassware from becoming cloudy;Recommended for maintaining the original shine of stainless steel utensils and dishes;Protects the dishwasher from lime scale and rust buildup;Don't contain phosphates, dyes, fragrances, or preservatives;Suitable for homes with septic systems.
Each tab is individually wrapped. Before use, you need to remove it from the packaging. The tabs are white with blue and brown speckles, slightly rough to the touch. They don't have a strong smell, only a mild chemical aroma that doesn't linger on the dishes or in the dishwasher. As the product description claims, it's 'all-in-one.' I used it for the first time without rinse aid and salt, and I have to say, the result wasn't what I expected. The dishwasher had a small buildup, and the dishes were clean but not spotless. So, for the next uses, I made sure to use the tabs with rinse aid and salt. I don't use short cycles, so I'm not sure how it would perform. I always use a 1.5-hour cycle.
🔻I'll show you the result of washing dishes with salt, rinse aid, and a Faberlic tab.
I load the dishwasher with all the usual items: a skillet, a glass baking dish, an aluminum baking sheet, cups, and plates. It's a full load.
I used the glass baking dish to roast mushrooms with bacon, and let me tell you, there were a lot of grease residue left behind. I didn't even bother to rinse it, just to show you the final result after washing. The aluminum baking dish after roasting meat, the same story - I didn't rinse it to show you how it would clean.
I ran the dishwasher for an hour and a half, and after the wash cycle, I took a look at the results:
Regular plates came out sparkling clean, no food residue left behind, and that's a testament to the cleaning power. However, the colored plates didn't quite get the same level of shine, which is to be expected, but it's worth noting that the glassware, on the other hand, was a different story. The glassware, unfortunately, lacked the shine it's known for, and there were some streaks left behind. And, of course, the glass baking dish was also cleaned to perfection, but it wasn't without its flaws - streaks and lack of shine.
In the end, the Faberlic dishwasher tablets fell short of my expectations, and I wouldn't recommend them again due to the following reasons:
❌High cost for a small quantity
❌Failed to deliver on their promise of being "all-in-one" without rinse aid and salt
❌Lack of shine on glassware
❌Leaves streaks
For now, my top choice remains the Somat tablets, which do an excellent job without the drawbacks of the Faberlic tablets.
