Hello!
I'm super excited to share my personal experience with the Evitest One pregnancy test.
A bit of background: I've known since my teenage years that I'd need IVF to get pregnant. My husband and I got married at 24, and we never used protection, holding onto the hope that maybe, just maybe, it would happen naturally. But it didn't, and we knew it wouldn't. We had medical issues and conditions to consider, and the IVF diagnosis was always on the table, even if we still held onto hope.
It's been about two years since we started saving up for IVF. Let me tell you, the costs are no joke – you need to factor in the cost of clinic visits, hormone prescriptions, vitamins, and God knows how many failed attempts that you'll need to pay for. And forget about getting it covered by the public health system – that's not even an option for us.
So, after saving up for a while, we finally felt secure in our finances, knowing we had enough to cover multiple attempts without breaking the bank. And then, our IVF protocol landed on the end of the year, with the embryo transfer scheduled for December 8. But, of course, my husband had to leave for work that day, leaving me to deal with the transfer on my own in a different city. The transfer itself was a breeze, and the doctor gave me some reassuring advice before I headed home with a mix of emotions – excitement, fear, and uncertainty.
The first few days after the transfer were pretty normal – I went to work, did my usual stuff. Nobody knew about the IVF, not even my colleagues, so I didn't take any time off work. We'd been keeping it under wraps, and I didn't want to draw attention to myself.
But then, just as my vacation was starting, I came down with the Hong Kong flu. I had a fever of over 40°C for five days, and I just powered through it at home, relying on paracetamol to bring down the temperature and plenty of fluids to stay hydrated. I lost 3 kg in the process, thanks to a lack of appetite and dehydration. It took me about a week to recover, but I was back on my feet by the time my vacation was over.
I have to admit, I couldn't wait 14 days after taking the pregnancy test to do the HCG analysis, so I did a pregnancy test on the 10th day. I bought Evitest because my friends recommended it, saying it's more accurate.

Here are the general characteristics of the Evitest One pregnancy test:
Full name: Evitest One pregnancy test.
Price: 156 rubles
Place of purchase: I ordered it through apotekaru
Quantity: 1 unit
Expiration date: 2.5 years
The packaging of the Evitest One pregnancy test is really nice – it's a cardboard box with a soft design. The box is additionally wrapped in a transparent plastic sheet that's easy to tear along the perforation and remove.
The front of the box features the test's name and its main selling points: accuracy and fast results. On the back, you'll find detailed instructions on how to use the test, which I found helpful, especially when I had irregular periods and wasn't sure how to take the test. Maybe it's useful for first-time users too.

When you open the package, you'll find the test strip. It's pretty solid, not flimsy, and quite dense.
The Evitest One pregnancy test is a strip test, which means it's a paper-plastic strip with a reagent.
Using the Evitest One pregnancy test is super easy: after opening the packet, the test strip is submerged in a cup with urine up to the indicated level for 5 seconds. Then, place the test strip on a dry horizontal surface. You can read the results in 3-5 minutes, but no more than 10 minutes, at room temperature.
If your test is positive, you'll see two red lines - you're pregnant. If you're unsure, it's best to do a second test, ideally in the morning after waking up, as the hormone HCG is most concentrated in the first morning urine, especially in early pregnancy.
I collected a small amount of urine in a plastic disposable cup, and it wasn't a morning sample. I actually did the test in the evening. I submerged the test to the level indicated, waited for 5 seconds, and then took it out and placed it on a flat surface. When I got the result, it showed a second line almost immediately. I was both excited and terrified at the same time – you never know what's going to happen next, and it's natural to feel anxious. I quickly took a photo of the test and sent it to my husband with a text: 'Looks like you're going to be a dad.' He was over the moon, as he's always wanted kids and was worried about the stress of multiple attempts. It's not just the woman who goes through stress – the man does too.

I have to admit, I was skeptical about getting pregnant after the first transfer. IVF is not a 100% guarantee of pregnancy, especially the first time around. The body just isn't wired to conceive, and the first transfer often ends in disappointment. It's only in 40-45% of cases that pregnancy occurs. Subsequent transfers have a higher success rate, as the doctor can adjust hormone support and monitor the situation more closely.
I was really impressed with Evitest – it's a simple, affordable pregnancy test with a great design that's not just functional, but also pleasant to use. The quality is excellent, and the accuracy is high, which gives you peace of mind and saves you from buying multiple tests.
I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable pregnancy test. Thanks for reading!
