I bought these Eva boots for my kid back in February 2023 from the online store Detsky Mir. I managed to snag a 20% discount using a promo code and an extra 20% off with my kid's birthday bonus. The total cost was 1000.00 rubles. My kid started wearing them in April because the Nordman Cross boots they had were just too small.

The boots in 'lemon' color. There were a few things I actually liked about these boots:

First off, they're great for high-rise shoes.

Secondly, they're made from Eva material with low thermal conductivity, which meant my kid's feet stayed warm even in temperatures below zero.

Don't buy these as winter boots - the sole is slippery. Perfect for 'snowplay'. Thirdly, the sole is thick and even has a built-in arch support.

Check out these fluffy insoles - they're 80% sheep's wool.

That's what the insoles are made of. The insoles themselves are warm and have a nice sheep's wool content.

There's also a strap that keeps water from getting into the boot.

The boots are adjustable - with the insole, they're size 24, without it, they're size 25. My kid can wear them for a few seasons, which is a definite plus.

Here's a photo of the insole - 16.5 cm long. The outer seams take up 5 cm on each side, and that's where the wool is. Unfortunately, there's one major downside that makes all the good things irrelevant. Getting the boots on with the insole is a real challenge. My kid tried to put them on themselves, but the insole would shift and they'd walk funny. Their heel wasn't in the right place, and they'd walk on their tiptoes.

I had to help them put the boots on, sitting them down and pushing the insole into place with my fingers. Then I'd pull the boot up over their foot.

I'd chosen the right size, as the boots were clearly too big without the insole. But with the insole, they were perfect. The problem is, my kid can't put these boots on themselves, and even I have to make an effort to get them on right. That's just not worth the hassle.

In reality, the boots look a bit clumsy. Clean them with a melamine sponge or a microfiber cloth to keep them looking nice.
