My Experience with Estel Kikimora Ultra-Moisturizing Peat Shampoo
I'll be the first to admit it: I'm not a die-hard fan of Estel brand. In fact, until recently, I'd snicker at the products from this brand.
That was before my friend convinced me to try their shampoo and mask, and I was blown away by the results. So when I heard about the Estel Kikimora Ultra-Moisturizing Peat Shampoo, I was intrigued.
I'll start with the good stuff: the shampoo. I have no complaints about it whatsoever. It's a 1-liter bottle, and I've been using it for a while now.
The Estel Kikimora Ultra-Moisturizing Peat Shampoo is a game-changer for me. It gets my scalp clean, makes my hair look great, and even gives me some much-needed volume at the roots – a rare feat for someone with super-long hair like me.
I've got super long, curly locks that I ruined with a cheap Dyson knockoff six months ago. I spent over 10,000 rubles on hair restoration and it's still not the end of it. Why you shouldn't buy a Dyson copycat.
Fast forward to now, and I'm in the process of restoring my hair, getting Botox every six months (next one's in February) and taking extra good care at home.
I need a shampoo that's gentle enough not to mess with the Botox, but also gets my scalp clean. And the thing is, I wash my hair every morning, so I need something that's going to last.
Using this shampoo is a breeze – it lathers up great, even on the first try. I've gotten into the habit of double-cleansing my scalp, but this shampoo still gets it all clean without stripping my hair of its natural oils.
This shampoo has been a lifesaver for me. It's perfect for my long, fine hair with oily scalp and prone to splitting and breaking.
I'm really impressed with how well this shampoo cleans my hair without drying it out. It looks healthy and shiny, and I love that it doesn't leave any pesky clumps.
After using it, my hair is perfectly primed for any mask or deep treatment. I used to think that a shampoo's only job was to just get the dirt out of my hair, but now I realize that it's so much more than that. A good shampoo sets the stage for the rest of your hair care routine, and it makes all the difference in how your hair looks in the end.
With this shampoo from Kikimora Estel, my hair looks amazing - it's just a matter of trimming the split ends and dealing with any heat damage from my hair dryer.
Finally, here's a random photo my daughter took at the end of the day before bed. I washed my hair in the morning, and it survived a full day of work, a hat, batteries, and Siberian cold:
This is an amazing shampoo that's perfect for my long, fine hair with oily scalp and prone to splitting and breaking. Of course, I'd give it a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend it!
Thanks for reading, and until next time!
Main Information:
Volume: 250 ml and 1 liter, I have the larger version;Country of origin: Russia;Price and where to buy: it's a bit complicated, to be honest. The smaller volume can be ordered with great discounts at Riv Gosh, but for some reason, the 1-liter bottles are not available there.I bought it from my keratin master and paid only 900 rubles for 1 liter, although the average price is 1300-1600 rubles.
Manufacturer's Claims:
This professional hydrating shampoo from ESTEL KIKIMORA delivers on its promises for dry, damaged, brittle, colored, and dehydrated hair. It's also gentle enough for sensitive scalp skin, gently cleansing and helping to alleviate feelings of tightness, dryness, and loss of elasticity. The peat extract is packed with natural microelements that nourish the hair shaft from root to tip, keeping the scalp comfortable. Air plant root helps to fortify hair roots and promote growth, while seaweed keeps moisture locked in, and water lily adds softness and smoothness. This nourishing, clarifying shampoo is perfect for daily use, doesn't weigh hair down, and maintains its natural volume.
Ingredients:
I'm really impressed with the scent – it's like a perfect blend of authenticity and subtlety. The shampoo smells like a damp, mossy forest floor – earthy, a bit musty, but in a good way. It's not overpowering, just really pleasant and interesting. I'm hooked!
Design:
I really like the overall design of this series, and this shampoo in particular. It's got a sleek, dark green plastic bottle with a lovely turquoise foil strip at the top.
All the important info is on the back of the bottle.
I'm a big fan of flip-top lids, and this one's the most convenient format for me.
The dosing hole is a bit small, but I just use it as is – you can buy a separate dosing device if you want, but I don't need it. I've used over half the bottle so far, and the flip-top lid is still going strong – no issues whatsoever.
Consistency and Color:
I wasn't expecting the color of this shampoo to be so... interesting. If I were a blonde, I probably wouldn't use it, to be honest – the color's a bit like swamp water. But as a brunette, it doesn't faze me.
The shampoo is moderately thick and applies beautifully to my scalp.
