Hello everyone!
Today, I'm excited to share my review of Energy Guarantee Insurance Company.

✾ My Backstory
I've mentioned in a few reviews before that my two sons are super into hockey, which is a pretty physically demanding sport. So, every year at the start of the season, I get them a sports insurance policy. A couple of years ago, I was using other insurance companies, but for some reason, we didn't renew the contract. And then, in August 2018, fate brought me to the office of Sports Accident Insurance 'Energy Guarantee.' I discussed the specifics of sports insurance for hockey players with the branch manager in our city, listened to their proposals, and agreed on a collective discount for the whole team, provided I was the one taking out the policy for the kids. Later, I also got a family insurance policy in case of a tick bite.

✾ Sports Insurance
As a rule, classic life and health insurance policies don't cover injuries sustained during training and competitions. But since tournament organizers and coaches won't let kids participate without insurance, insurance companies have developed a new product - sports insurance.
In our hockey school, we even won't let kids train without a sports insurance policy. And that's right.
Getting the Insurance Policy. The insurance company's website has a 'Bambini' program calculator that lets you calculate the insurance sum. You go here, set the insurance sum (minimum 50,000 rubles, maximum 500,000 rubles), and put a tick in the box next to the question: 'Does your child engage in sports?' When you choose 'Yes,' you get another question: 'What kind of sports does your child engage in?' Hockey with a puck is in the third option. Put a tick in the box. Below, the calculator shows you the sum. The sum will be different from what I'm going to write below, simply because the policy I got doesn't cover 24/7, but only during the time the kids participate in sports competitions, training, and sports camps. So, any other injuries the kids might get outside of a sports organization won't be considered a covered event. If you're not okay with that, you can order a policy that covers 24 hours a day.
Value for Money. For my youngest son, who doesn't compete yet, but only trains, I chose a coverage amount of 50,000 rubles. The insurance premium comes out to 500 rubles. The policy term is 1 year. But since I was getting insurance for the whole team, they gave us a 10% discount. And the insurance policy ended up costing me 450 rubles. As for my older son, who already competes in the Russian Junior Ice Hockey Championship, the minimum coverage amount before being allowed to compete is 100,000 rubles. At the same time, the insurance premium is 1,000 rubles. But even here, we managed to save a bit by getting insurance for the whole team, and in the end, one policy cost me 900 rubles.

What Happens in Case of an Accident? As I mentioned earlier, my sons' insurance policies are limited and only apply during training, camps, and competitions. But I also acted as an insurer not only for my children but also for their team. So, I directly encountered the process of submitting an insurance claim after a few players got injured. Over the two years of working with SAKEnergogarant, there were several cases of insurance claims for injuries to children from our teams. As a rule, these were broken hands, legs, and collarbones. When you get injured, you must definitely seek medical help and document the incident. After being discharged, we contact the insurance company and submit a claim for compensation with the date and circumstances of the accident.
We attach the following documents:
My parental passport (often I, as the insurer, would attach my own passport);the child's passport or birth certificate;the insurance policy for voluntary insurance of citizens from accidents, issued for the child;medical documents from the medical institution (certificate, outpatient card extract, discharge summary) with the diagnosis and treatment duration;the recipient's bank account details for the insurance payout. They'll let you know the insurance payout amount the very next day and offer to receive it either on the bank account you specified or in cash on the spot.
The insurance payout amounts depend on the severity of the injury. The maximum payout is for an injury incompatible with life.

✾ Insect Bite Insurance Policy
Last year, I decided to expand our cooperation with the Energogarant insurance company and buy a combined insurance policy against tick bites and their consequences for myself and my children. The 1-year policy cost me 200 rubles per person. The individual insurance amount was 500,000 rubles.
The policies expired after a month, and I'm glad they didn't come in handy.

✾ Bonus Program
One thing I really like about working with Energogarant is their rewards program. When I signed up for a policy, the manager suggested I download the UDS app from the App Store and register - it's pretty straightforward. After completing the registration, I got a bunch of points added to my account from the premium payment. Over the two years I've been working with Energogarant, I've accumulated a decent amount of points, which I can use to pay for things like my home insurance policy.
By default, everyone's status is set to the basic level with a 3% cashback. However, if you've paid out a total premium of over 100,000 rubles, you'll be upgraded to VIP status and get a 5% cashback.
You can also earn points by sharing your referral link with friends and family, as long as they purchase a policy from Energogarant.

✾ Final Verdict
I've been working with Energogarant for two years now, and I've had no issues whatsoever. Whenever I reach out to their manager, they always resolve any issues I have, and sometimes they even go the extra mile to make things right.
Insurance payouts are always made on time, with no delays or bureaucratic red tape, and the entire process is usually wrapped up within an hour.
I'd definitely recommend buying insurance policies from Energogarant, and I'll continue to use their services myself.
