Ecolatier Hair Nourishing Shampoo

I've tried a lot of shampoos, but this Ecolatier one really delivers. It's all about giving your hair the TLC it needs - feeding and restoring your locks with a nourishing formula that's perfect for damaged, color-treated, or just plain tired hair. I've noticed a big difference in my hair since I started using it. The dryness is gone, and I'm left with healthy-looking locks that feel silky smooth. It's a game-changer for anyone looking for a long-lasting hydration boost.

summarizeEditor's Summary

I'm obsessed with the coconut scent in this Ecolatier shampoo - it's like a tropical vacation in a bottle. But, I've got to be honest, it's not perfect. The good news is that it leaves my hair looking healthy and feeling clean, and the price is pretty reasonable. However, I've experienced some irritation and dryness, especially on sensitive skin. I've been using it for a while now, and I've got some thoughts on what works and what doesn't. One thing I love is that it's free of harsh chemicals and artificial fragrances. The packaging is also sleek and modern, which I appreciate. But, if you've got sensitive skin, you might want to look elsewhere. I've found that this shampoo can cause irritation and dryness, especially on sensitive skin. The formula can be a bit too rich for some hair types, and it doesn't seem to moisturize as well as some other shampoos I've used. The scent can be a bit overpowering for some people, and it's not as effective at removing product buildup as some other shampoos. The packaging can be a bit flimsy and prone to leaks, which is a bummer. Overall, I think this shampoo has some great qualities, but it's not perfect. If you're looking for a coconut-scented shampoo that's gentle and effective, you might want to give this one a try. But, if you've got sensitive skin, you might want to look elsewhere.

Love the coconut scent in this Ecolatier shampoo, but there's one major flaw that's keeping me from buying it again.
Hello there!
All the girls know that a great hair care routine starts with a good shampoo. I needed a new one, and I'm glad I picked this one.
Shampoo for Nutrition and Recovery
Brand: Ecolatier - I've been a fan of the brand for a while now. I've used their hemp shampoo and coconut balm before, and I was happy with them. When I saw this shampoo on sale, I grabbed it without hesitation.
Production: Russia
Volume: 250 ml
Price: 261 ruble, which is a decent price, if I do say so myself.
Place of purchase: Ulybka Radugi, but you can easily find it in stores.
Packaging.
The shampoo comes in a sleek, plastic bottle that doesn't leak when you press it.
Design is right in line with the brand's style - I think it looks pretty nice. The plastic is a nice brown-green color.
The label around it is a light beige-green color, all natural tones. On the front, you've got the brand name and the shampoo name, along with a cute little illustration of a broken coconut.
On the back, you've got the info - the font is small, but easy to read.
Description:
I was really impressed with how gently this ECOLATIER Organic Coconut shampoo cleans my hair, without stripping it of its natural oils or damaging my scalp.
It's also vegan-friendly, certified by the Vegan Society in the UK. Plus, over 98% of its ingredients come from natural sources.
Organic coconut oil is a game-changer - it's rich in saturated fatty acids, vitamins B, and minerals. It helps fortify my scalp and hair, locking in moisture and preventing dryness. The result? Softer, shinier locks that are a joy to style. The mango extract is another standout ingredient - it's a powerful hydrator that not only nourishes my scalp but also boosts collagen and elastin production.Ingredients:
Aqua, Sodium Coco-Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Glycerin (plant-derived), Lauryl Glucoside, Cocos Nucifera Water* (organic coconut water), Mangifera Indica Fruit Extract (mango extract), Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Panthenol (vitamin B5), Sodium Chloride, Cocos Nucifera Oil* (organic coconut oil), Hydroxypropyl Guar, Niacinamide (vitamin B3), Hydroxypropyl Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Dehydroacetic Acid, Benzoic Acid, Benzyl Alcohol, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Parfum, Limonene, Coumarin, Citronellol, Citral.
I love how packed this formula is with natural ingredients, all of which are eco-friendly and approved by eco-golicks.
The label has a handy notch on the side, which shows exactly how much product is left in the bottle. No more nasty surprises when it's time to reorder!
The shampoo cap closes onto a small brown flip-top lid, which shuts tightly.
The bottle has a clever design with a notch that lets you open it even with wet hands in the shower.
The bottle is sturdy and compact, taking up minimal space on my bathroom shelf.
Using it and the results.
I always double-wash my hair.
I squeeze out a decent amount of shampoo and apply it to my scalp.
The color of the shampoo is transparent.
The scent is quite intense and bright, with a sweet coconut aroma that's pleasant for those who like it. During use, it's noticeable, but it doesn't linger on my hair and doesn't clash with any perfumes.
The texture is uniform, medium-thick, and gel-like, but not too runny.
I apply the shampoo to my scalp and massage it in with my fingertips, sometimes using a silicone scalp massager for a deeper clean.
During the first application, foam formation is moderate since my hair's still dirty.
On the second go (and I always double-wash), there's plenty of foam, which is airy and abundant, feeling great.
I use this shampoo on my scalp only, and a decent amount of the foamy liquid is enough to clean my hair length. Don't go scrubbing your hair with it - that'll just dry it out and make it brittle.
The usage amount is around 5ml, which is roughly one teaspoon. It's a standard amount for washing your hair.
It rinses off easily, just give your head a good soak with some water.
Afterwards, I either use a hairdryer or let my hair air-dry, depending on how much time I've got and how warm it is at home.
You can judge the results once your hair is fully dry.
First and foremost, the shampoo's job is to clean your hair. And, from what I can tell, it does a decent job even with heavy dirt and grime. I was at a stable recently and some lovely creature decided to get a bit too familiar with my hair - then it was time to test this shampoo. It does a good job of cleaning.
I've got pretty normal scalp skin, but I've noticed a couple of times that this shampoo might be drying it out a bit and making it flaky. It's not something I've experienced every time I use it, but it's definitely something to be aware of. If you've got sensitive scalp skin, this might not be the best choice.
On the plus side, it doesn't weigh my hair down - I've got pretty fine hair, but it's not like it's going to turn into a frizzy mess or anything.
It's also nice that the cleaning is actually pretty effective and long-lasting - I usually wash my hair every three or four days, and with this shampoo, I haven't had to adjust my schedule at all.
After using this shampoo, I didn't notice any significant changes to my hair's overall condition, but that's not what I was expecting anyway. Masks and deep conditioning treatments are still responsible for that. It's silly to expect a shampoo to do that job.
I did a special experiment to see how my hair would look after using this shampoo alone, without any moisturizing treatments. And honestly, it looked pretty good. My hair was shiny and relatively well-groomed.
The only negative effect I've noticed is occasional scalp dryness and some itchiness, but not every time.
The Verdict:
✅I love the natural design of this shampoo
✅The coconut scent is bright and pleasant
✅It's got a lot of natural ingredients in the formula
✅It creates a great lather
✅It cleanses well and effectively
✅It doesn't damage my hair
✅It doesn't weigh my hair down
✅My hair looks shiny and healthy
❌However, it can sometimes dry out my scalp and cause some flakiness, especially if I use it too frequently. So, it might not be suitable for people with dry or sensitive scalps, or those who wash their hair every day.
The Bottom Line: I'd recommend this shampoo overall, but considering that one drawback, I'd give it four out of five stars. It worked okay for me, but not perfectly. So, I'm using this bottle, but I won't be repurchasing it.
Ultimately, it's up to you to decide whether you want to try it or not!
Thanks for checking out my review!
