Editor's Summary
Eco-friendly dishwasher tablets failed to impress, leaving dishes with residue and not saving time in the long run
Specifications
Honestly, I was expecting a lot more from these eco-friendly dishwasher tablets. But what I got was a disappointing experience that left me wondering if the hype was worth it.
My main concern was finding a product that would save me time and get my dishes sparkling clean without harming the environment. But these tablets fell short in both departments.
Greenwashing?
At first glance, the packaging seemed eco-friendly, but then I noticed it's actually plastic. Yeah, that kinda defeats the purpose of being green.
Performance Issues
When it comes to getting the job done, these tablets were underwhelming. I ran them through various cycles, but the best results were on the highest heat setting. Even then, they didn't quite live up to the non-eco-friendly competition.
Worse still, I found residue on some of my dark-colored dishes, and they struggled to tackle greasy pots and pans on the first try.
Not Worth It for Me
For me, convenience and effectiveness are non-negotiable. If these tablets can't deliver, I'm not interested.
That being said, if eco-friendliness is your top priority, you might want to give them a shot. But for me, it's a hard pass.
