I'm still trying to wrap my head around the absolute chaos that is DPD's delivery service. Despite the countless terrible reviews and millions of dissatisfied customers, this company still manages to operate and continue to torment people.
I placed an order on a website for a perfume as a gift, and according to the tracking information in my account, it was supposed to be delivered on December 30th, which was perfectly fine with me.
I was too early to celebrate, as I still didn't know that the perfume was being sent by the awful company DPD!
On December 27th, I received a message from DPD with a link to track my order. And on their website, I saw that instead of December 30th, my package would be delivered on January 8th! I started trying to call the company Letual, DPD, but nowhere could I find a live person! Everywhere - on their websites, social media, over the phone - both companies responded with robots that, of course, spewed out a generic response, unable to help me in any way and designed to protect the fragile egos of incompetent companies from customer outrage.
It's even more annoying that I'm a customer, and I'm paying these companies for their subpar work, and I'm not asking for anything for free. Oh, sorry, I digress.
After getting nowhere, I left my loved one without a New Year's gift, thanks to the companies Letual and DPD. However, I was still optimistic that I would surprise them with the gift on January 8th, as DPD had promised. Especially since I chose a convenient delivery time on their website from 6 to 10 PM, when I would definitely be home.
The courier's call came at 5 PM, and he told me that he would arrive with the package in 10 minutes. I wasn't home at that time, so I couldn't accept the package. I asked the courier to come at the agreed-upon time, between 6 and 10 PM, but I didn't get a response, and he hung up. Later, I received a message saying that I had cancelled the delivery myself! So, it's not the courier's fault, who was planning to come at the wrong time, but my fault.
I still don't fully understand the scale of the nightmare that is DPD's work, and I chose to change the delivery method to pick-up instead. But that was impossible. Not only were the buttons inactive, but the website itself wasn't working, as you can see from the screenshot. Half of the website's pages simply don't exist.
And the cherry on top was that now I lost the ability to pick up my package altogether! What we see from the next screenshot.
Well, I'd like to send a warm greeting to the Letual company, which is very concerned about delivering its products to customers NOT AT ALL. And also to the DPD company, which can't even and doesn't want to work, by hiring incompetent regional staff, particularly couriers who are rude.
I still haven't received my package, and there's no way to fix this situation. All calls to DPD's number 495-710-77-01 are automatically disconnected by their robots. Apparently, the company's representatives are imitating the fact that I'm not answering the phone, and they have the right not to deliver my package. I don't have any other way to contact them and try to pick up my package from the pick-up point.
