Hello everyone!
I'm here to tell you about the Domashnyi store network.
I have to admit, I get sucked in there all the time and end up spending way too much time browsing.
Domashnyi has a ton of really cool stuff, but I want to warn you that the prices can be a bit steep.
I've got a pretty embarrassing story to share with you about my experience at Domashnyi.
So, there was this promotion going on where if you spent 2500 rubles, you'd get a discount or something like that.
But I didn't need to spend that much, I just needed a couple of containers and a bucket, which would've left me with about 1300 rubles to spare.
I spent ages wandering around the store trying to figure out what else to buy, and then I spotted this tiny little mirror on a stand. It was a magnifying glass on one side and a regular mirror on the other.
The price was perfect - exactly 1300 rubles.
I wanted to check how much it would cost on the marketplaces, but the internet wasn't loading (I'm pretty sure they were just blocking it).
So, I just grabbed the mirror and headed to the checkout.
The purchase went through with the discount, and I was happy as a clam.
But then I got home and started browsing the marketplaces, and I found the exact same mirror for 300 rubles! Not 700, not 500, but 300! And I'd just paid 1300 rubles for it at Domashnyi! The difference was a whopping 433%.
I just couldn't believe it, so the next day I went back to Domashnyi to return the mirror.
I was thinking to myself, 'Okay, what am I going to say to them?' But the cashier just asked me why I wanted to return it, and I told her it didn't fit on my shelf.
She was super nice about it and gave me my money back.
After that, I ordered the same mirror from the marketplace for 300 rubles, and I was finally happy.
Despite the price difference, I have to give Domashnyi props for their customer service.
They're definitely worth checking out, but just keep an eye on the prices.
Now, let me invite you to take a stroll down the aisles of Domashnyi with me.
I'm absolutely obsessed with these little elephant figurines. And the black ones are on sale!
Elephant figurines at DomashnyiWhat do you think of this stylish little Babi-Ra? They even gave her her own little shelf!
Babi-Ra at DomashnyiAnother thing I love is these tiny little decorative stones. They're about the size of a hand.
Mini decorative stones at DomashnyiAnd my love for all sorts of wooden decorations? That's all thanks to my dad.
Wooden items in the houseI ended up buying this maslenitsa for myself, it was just too cute. It's got a metal tray and a transparent plastic lid.
Maslenka in the HouseAnd on this photo, there are a few things that caught my eye - the oil and vinegar container with a bunch of grapes inside, the organizer for storage, and the set of magnetic spice containers. It all looks super stylish and unique.
The white ceramic plates in different shapes are literally my weakness!
Tableware in the House It's not uncommon to find super low prices at the House, like these cups for 39 rubles.
The cups at the House are super diverse.
There are even those super pretty, translucent ones with a pearlescent finish.
And then there are these plates made from brown glass, just like the ones we had when I was a kid - that was the coolest tableware back then.
So, what do you think about this color scheme for tableware - seafoam or sky blue?
By the way, there are some awesome discounts right now at the House on kitchen accessories from Apollo.
Okay, let's get back to the dishes. What do you think of the black and white ones?
The white ones are super stylish and of great quality, but they're also pretty pricey, even with all the discounts.
White walls, black dishes)I'm obsessed with dishes in different shapes, especially the ocean theme - dishes shaped like fish and seashells.
Check out these plates with a little piece of the ocean on them.
And these plates with cute little animals on them.
The fancier dishes.
I also really love transparent dishes.
Transparent dishes in Domovoy)For some reason, I always find myself drawn to white and blue dishes in stores.
Blue dishes, white dishes)I'm not sure if blue dishes would look good with any food, but they always catch my eye in the store. You can choose dishes for kids in Domovoy.
Kids' dishes)Check out these awesome little containers - we used to have them for cold cuts.
The selection of pots in Domovoy is pretty good.
And these round pots are really interesting.
Round potsI've got a thing for the most basic ones.
Personally, I love pots with flat lids.
Domestic has a great selection of plasticware.
Domestic has the most diverse selection of glasses and tumblers.
They've got these crazy tumblers.
Crazy tumblerDecanters for wine are hard to find, but Domestic has them.
They've also got some cool bottle stands.
Bottle standsI'm a big fan of pots with flat lids and flat, even bottoms. They take up less space, and the flat lid can be hung on the cabinet door. Plus, the flat, even bottom is a breeze to clean.
But won't the handle get hot?
I found some even more original pots with flat lids and flat, even bottoms.
Only the handle is on the side. I think it's super original.
I think the next pot design is the most classic because it's got both a flat lid and handles that you can grab when the pot is hot.
Still, pots with metal handles are a pain to grab when they're hot – you need a towel.
So, what's your take on the other pots I've tried?
I've also found some awesome outdoor furniture at Homey, and they always have a sale at the end of the season.
Soft Outdoor ChairsThey've got a huge selection of dinnerware too.
I'd definitely recommend Homey for their great selection and awesome customer service.
