Hello everyone who's stumbled upon my review!
I've been a huge fan of Clarins' lip perfector for ages - it's got a soft brush with an opening lid, and almost all my girlfriends use it, including me. Over time, though, the product became super pricey, and I started to get a bit tired of it. I've since found some amazing alternatives.
After writing about Divage's powder, which I really loved, I decided to delve deeper into the brand's product line. If I like one thing from a brand, it's likely that I'll enjoy the rest, based on my experience.
I also stumbled upon a glowing review from a friend about a lip balm with peptides, and I just had to check it out. I'd never used a balm with peptides before, and I was curious.
My curiosity led me to the Za website, where I blind-bought the lip balm with peptides from Divage in shade 09 'Raspberry Mousse'. As usual, my intuition paid off, and I'm glad I chose this shade. Plus, the balm's packaging is identical to Clarins'.
I purchased this product for 449 rubles on the Golden Apple website, and I've been using it for a few weeks, almost a month.
Product code: 190 004 372 93

I was really impressed with how smoothly the balm glides onto my lips, without any stickiness or residue.
Ingredients:
Polybutene, paraffinum liquidum, isononyl isononanoate, vp/hexadecene copolymer , silica dimethyl silylate, cera microcrystallina, palmitoyl tripeptide-1 (800~1000 ppm ), petrolatum, phenyl trimethicone, parfum, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil , tocopheryl acetate, butyrospermum parkii (shea butter), vitis vinifera (grape) seed oil, simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil. (+/-) ci 15850, ci 45410, ci 77891, ci 77510, caprylic/capric triglycerides, ci 77492, ci 15850:1, ci 77491, ci 77499, ci 45380:2, ci 19140.
The ingredient list is really interesting, with coconut oil, shea butter, grape seed oil, and jojoba oil all making an appearance. I love that they've included vitamin E. All the important details, including the ingredient list, are on the back of the packaging. For a budget-friendly product, the ingredients are more than impressive.
I was also really impressed with the packaging, a sturdy plastic tube with a protective sticker - no flimsy cardboard packaging here. The color of the tube is a close match to the balm itself, but not an exact match.

One thing that did take some getting used to was the lack of a soft, fluffy applicator. The one provided is a smooth, transparent plastic with a lip-shaped indentation - it's flexible. To be honest, it took me a few days to get the hang of using it, but once I did, we became fast friends.

Texture-wise, this lip balm is thick and rich, with a slightly oily feel, but no shimmer. It applies evenly to my lips without any streaks or pooling, and I love wearing it in a single layer. For a more dramatic look, I can build it up in two or three layers – perfect for a night out.
Right after applying the balm, I can feel the instant hydration, and my lips look healthy and plump. What's even more impressive is that the balm seems to blend seamlessly into my lips, leaving no residue or stickiness behind. The texture is spot on – not too greasy, not too drying, just right.

My favorite shade of balm is this gorgeous lavender hue, reminiscent of a cold rose. It's the perfect color - rich, sophisticated, and universally flattering. I've tried a bunch of different shades, but this one takes the cake. When you press the tube, be gentle, or you'll end up with way too much product. But that's not a big deal - the balm is easy to adjust to your liking.
The best part is that this balm gives your lips a gorgeous, glassy finish. Just like the manufacturer claims, it really does look like liquid glass. I'm not kidding - it's a game-changer.
The wear time isn't super long, but that's actually a plus for me. I like that it wears off gradually, without any harsh lines or residue. It's totally fine if it fades a bit after eating or drinking - that's just part of the charm.
The scent of this balm is like a sweet treat - it's vanilla, caramel, and creamy all mixed together! It's super soft and has a nice sugar cookie vibe to it. The smell is definitely not chemical, but rather delicious and pleasant.
So, let's get to the point:
This balm from Divage is a winner in my book!
