Hello beauty enthusiasts!
I've been on a roll lately, adding new fragrances to my collection from Dilis. So far, I've got three scents in my collection, and I've reviewed each of them at the bottom:
Sweet Cherry.
Fluelle Fantasy.
For Her.
And now, my collection has just gotten two new additions:
Black Vanilla.
Green Leaf, which is the one I'm going to be talking about today.

About the product from the manufacturer:
There's something special about stepping out into the fresh air after a summer storm. The smell of ozone, the rainbow, the lush green grass, and the puddles that reflect the city in a perfect mood – it's all a good reason to look at your favorite streets with new eyes. I'm totally in love with their beauty, the unexpected twists, and the colors of the houses, the balconies, and the signs. The unique aroma of green leaves is unmistakable, just like the Green Leaf Eau de Toilette. This refreshing cocktail, made from a blend of bergamot and jasmine, is a bit dizzying with its freshness and brightness. The toning scent is cool and gentle. This sparkling combination of herbal notes and fresh accents quenches my thirst just as well as a cold tea with lemon, leaving behind a mossy aftertaste and a bright amber glow. The Green Leaf composition is impressive. In its soft, damp 'green' notes, I completely lose myself. The sleek bottle perfectly complements the concept of freshness and energy.
Green Leaf Eau de Toilette Dilis Parfum, released in 2011, is classified as a women's fragrance and belongs to the families of Honeysuckle and Floral. Green Leaf Eau de Toilette is part of the La Vie collection.
Packaging/Design:
The packaging is straightforward and unpretentious. It's a thin cardboard with a simple design, clearly inspired by Elizabeth Arden's 'Green Tea' fragrance. I don't see anything wrong with it, but I also don't see anything special – it's a bit too generic.

Packaging.
I was happy to see that it comes with a protective seal.
Protective seal.
The bottle itself is a nice touch, reminiscent of Elizabeth Arden's 'Green tea' style - a thick, sturdy glass that's resistant to breakage (I dropped it and it didn't shatter or crack). The only difference is the color of the liquid and the cap.
Bottle.
The cap opens easily, closes a bit loosely, but it won't accidentally open in your bag. The sprayer works well, doesn't leak, and gives a light, fine mist.

Sensory properties:
Color of the liquid is a lovely turquoise (no shimmer or sediment), so be careful when spraying it on light-colored clothes.
Pyramid of fragrance:
Initial notes: bergamot, lemon, orange, and mint.
Heart notes: rhubarb, jasmine, and carnation.
Base notes: moss, amber, and musk.
Family: Saponins, Floral.
How I feel this scent on me/unfolding on me:
Okay, let's get this straight – I've got sensitive skin, and scent unfolding and longevity are super personal, so take my opinion for what it's worth!
I was really craving a fresh new scent for summer, and I spent ages browsing because I already have a few similar scents in my collection, and I've also got a 3ml sample of Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea that I'm absolutely obsessed with and planning to buy the full size soon.
Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea sample
So, I was browsing through the catalog, and when I saw how similar Green Leaf looked to my existing fave, I just went ahead and ordered it – plus, the price was super affordable, and I figured it was worth a shot even if it didn't turn out to be my thing.
As soon as I sniffed Green Leaf, I realized it's a whole different scent – it's got some similarities, but it's not a replacement for Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea at all. The differences in the fragrance pyramid definitely made their mark.
Breaking down the scent unfolding:
Initial notes: bergamot, lemon, orange, mint
I was really excited to dive into the notes of this fragrance, and I have to say, it starts off with a nice citrusy vibe - more lemon than orange, with a hint of bitterness.
The freshness of the mint is just right, playing nicely with the citrus and giving the scent a slightly 'cool' feel.
The bergamot is a real showstopper at first, but it fades away within the first 15-20 minutes, leaving just a whisper of a note.
The alcohol is pretty strong at first, but it dissipates quickly, leaving the scent to shine.
The heart notes are where things get really interesting – the rhubarb adds a lovely freshness to the scent, cutting through the sweetness, and the jasmine is a real standout, its sweetness pairs perfectly with the earlier notes and sticks around to the end.
The base notes are where the moss and musk take over – the moss is just right, adding a nice, fresh greenness to the fragrance, and the musk is incredibly subtle, even in the heat – it's a real delicacy.
This fragrance is absolutely fresh and green, with no dusty, dirty, or overwhelming notes.
I think this scent is unisex – yes, if it were without the sweetness, it would be more masculine, but even with it, I've seen it on guys. I love it when a guy smells like something fresh, green, and slightly sweet, and I hate heavy, overwhelming scents.
I have to say, my colleagues and even some clients have commented on how 'complementary' this scent is. Guys in my circle have also mentioned that it's playful and alluring in the summer heat – not overpowering or suffocating at all.
Longevity and Sillage:
I've always been impressed with Dilis products in terms of longevity, and this one is no exception.
For a fresh, green scent, the longevity is good, especially considering the price – on my warm skin, it lasts around 4-5 hours.
On clothing and hair it lasts even longer, around 5 hours.
I wouldn't say the scent is always strong and vibrant, it's more intense in the first 1-2 hours, then it settles down and becomes more intimate and subtle, which is why I often reapply it – I love being able to smell it clearly on my skin.
The sillage is moderate, around 1 meter, making it perfect for public places (it won't offend those around you).
The ideal wearer, in my opinion:
Gender: Unisex.
Skin type: universal, but it will smell different on different skin types. On cool skin, it's fresher and 'cooler', while on warm skin, it's 'warmer' and sweeter. It lasts well on both, so I couldn't say it's better on one or the other.
Age: 16-35 years old (for women) and 20-30 years old (for men).
Weather/season: for me, the scent is universal, I love it in both cold winter and hot summer.
Daytime scent.
Wearer's style: definitely for 'light' personalities and styles. I don't see it working for 'bold' types.
As for the difference between Elizabeth Arden's 'Green Tea' and Dilis' 'Green Leaf', I think the fragrance pyramid is what sets it apart. The same ingredients are present, but they're combined in a way that makes the fragrance entirely unique.
Elizabeth Arden's 'Green Tea' features green tea, fennel, amber, celery seeds, caraway, and clove as a spice. To me, it's a deeper, more complex, and fresher (but still quite vibrant) scent than Dilis' 'Green Leaf'.
As for longevity, they're pretty much on par with each other, but Elizabeth Arden stays richer and more lingering.
So, while there's something similar, 'Green Leaf' can't be considered an exact duplicate – it's more like an homage.
The Bottom Line:
Fresh and rich scent.
For a fresh scent, it's surprisingly long-lasting.
Quality packaging.
Budget-friendly.
Perfect for warm weather (it won't suffocate you, even on the hottest days).
No irritation throughout the day.
Universal scent.
I consider it an unisex fragrance.
Playful, alluring, and fresh scent.
'Complimentary' scent.
For me, the sillage is a bit weak.
