A Disaster Waiting to Happen - My Diksi Delivery Review

summarizeEditor's Summary

I was really hoping Diksi delivery would be a game changer, especially since they acquired Magist, a service I'd already reviewed. Unfortunately, my experience was a total letdown. Despite their attractive prices, which were super appealing thanks to a 30% cashback offer and a 10% discount promo code, the service fell short in several areas. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that Diksi seems to be riding the coattails of Magist's decent service. The prices were indeed worth every penny, but the convenience and quality of delivery just weren't there. I'm not gonna lie, I was expecting more from a service that's supposed to offer a seamless experience. Needless to say, I won't be using Diksi again anytime soon.

I've already shared my thoughts on Magist delivery, so I'll just leave a link to that review in my profile for reference.
Now it's time to talk about Diksi delivery. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much after my experience with Magist.
All deliveries were within Moscow's MCD limits, where usual delivery times range from 20-40 minutes from any store. That's pretty standard.
I also want to mention that Magist was acquired by Diksi - what a coincidence? I don't think it's a coincidence. It's like they're trying to ride the coattails of a decent service.
So, I decided to give Diksi a shot. Here's why I chose them:
They were offering 30% cashback from Alfa-Bank, which was a nice little perk. I got a cashback of 800 rubles from this order, which was a nice surprise. They had a 10% discount promo code for orders over 3000 rubles. That's always a good thing. The option to choose my favorite products in the app and get a 20% discount on them was a major draw. I'm all about saving money.
Given these conditions, the prices were super attractive. But, as we know, a penny-pincher ends up paying twice. I've placed orders with Diksi before, and I've always been satisfied with the service. However, the delivery times were always super long - we're talking averaging around 1 hour and 30 minutes, but often taking up to 2 hours. And to make matters worse, they'd often get the wrong items or not bring enough. I'd have to contact customer support to get a refund, which would take up a ton of time and nerves.
I placed the order at 20:50, and to my surprise, the order was collected in just 5-7 minutes. By the way, Diksi accepts orders until 21:00, and stores are open until 22:00-23:00, depending on the area of Moscow. I have to admit, I was skeptical about whether the order would be delivered on time. And, as it turned out, my fears were justified, although I believed it would happen until the very end.
Order number: 22934505, date: 17.02.2026. Order total: 4052.23 rubles. That's a pretty penny.
After the order was collected, the delivery process began (which is the longest part of the entire experience with Diksi). And then, out of the blue, I received an SMS from Yandex saying that the order was being prepared for delivery. I was surprised that the courier was found so quickly. But the courier probably looked at the order weight and canceled the delivery. The order weighed 35 kg (12 bottles of mineral water and 7 packs of milk). Yeah, that's a lot of stuff.
I also want to mention that Diksi charges for delivery, despite the order total being 4000 rubles, the delivery fee was 149 rubles, and the packaging was also paid for, with one package costing 10.74 rubles. That's just crazy.
Delivery time was between 9 PM and 11 PM. My order was assembled by 9 PM. At 11:05 PM, the status is still: Searching for the courier. Yeah, because that's exactly what I want to hear - that my order is still searching for the courier.
I contacted customer support in the app at 10:50 PM to ask what was going on with my order. And what do you think? Customer support responds: 'Respected sir, delivery speed depends on the number of available vehicles. The order is still being searched for by the courier.' Yeah, that's super helpful.
Thanks a lot for nothing, I guess. By the way, every time they responded in the chat, they kept reminding me that they work from 7 AM to 11 PM. Like, I get it, you're not available 24/7, but can you at least try to help me out?
I decided to cancel the order. Around 10:57 PM. But it won't cancel, even though it says you can cancel before the courier picks it up (remember, my order status is still searching for the courier). Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait it out.
I wrote to the customer support wizards and seers again and they tell me: 'we can't cancel your order, you can only cancel it before assembly.' Yeah, because that makes sense. I mean, who doesn't want to cancel an order after it's been assembled?
Result: money deducted, order not delivered (time 12:09 AM, 18.02.2026), customer support not responding (they work until 11 PM). Can't cancel the order, status is still searching for the courier. Yeah, this is just great.
I'm still waiting to see how this ends. I'm not holding my breath, though.
My verdict: if you value your sanity and time, stay far, far away from Diksi's delivery service. Trust me, you won't regret it.
