No ironing board for me.
I've got a steam press for laundry, but that's for big batches when I need to get a few sets of bedding ironed to perfection. But a steam press still can't replace an iron.
I had a Tefal iron for a long time - it was reliable and great in every way. It was a corded model with the standard set of features: steam, ironing, and water spray. It lasted me 10 years (I iron a lot), but eventually it gave out.
It was smoking and making a weird noise - I had no idea what was wrong with it until I got it repaired, and without an iron, I was stuck.
I bought a cheap, no-frills iron from Dobrocen just in case, and it lasted exactly one day. I paid 1250 rubles for it.
It was just as bad as the one I bought a year ago as a backup.
Ironing disaster, or Ironophilia, I guess:
So, I had to buy another iron again.
I stumbled upon a wireless iron from DEXP in Dns. I've got a few of their products, and they all work great - a tablet, some speakers, and a vacuum.
I decided to order this model of iron with delivery.
I'm not sure if it was mentioned that it was a display model, but honestly, that's not really important.
About the model:
The DEXP CE2400SW iron in black and silver has a 2400W power output, which allows it to heat up quickly to the desired temperature after being turned on. The ceramic soleplate is easy to clean and glides smoothly over any type of fabric.
👍
I've got to say, the 300ml water reservoir is a game-changer for constant steam output at 20g/min, and it's perfect for activating the steam burst function. The vertical steam feature is a lifesaver for getting wrinkles out of clothes on the hanger or heavy curtains.
💙
The anti-drip system is a genius idea - it prevents those pesky water droplets from leaking out of the steam channels when you're ironing at low temperature without steam. The limescale protection and self-cleaning feature make maintenance a breeze. Plus, it comes with a measuring cup.
I got it packaged in a box, which was sealed. Okay, so the delivery guy was a bit careless with the packaging - he just tossed the box in a bag without putting it in a separate package. But hey, at least it arrived quickly!
📌The body is in pristine condition - everything's brand new, no scratches, scuffs, or signs of being on display.
In the box, you get the iron, stand, instructions, and a water cup.

The iron itself has a sleek blue body, it's super comfortable to hold, and lightweight.
It's cordless, which is a huge plus - no more tangled cords getting in the way while you're ironing. The stand for heating is similar to the one on a kettle.
There's a hole for pouring in water - I only use distilled water, by the way. The transparent reservoir lets you see how much water is left.
Now, about ironing.
I iron a ton. It's bedding, clothes, and tablecloths. I use the steam function a lot.
This iron heats up super fast - faster than all my previous ones. I iron at the highest temperature because, let's be real, everything's cotton. You set the temperature with the dial and you're good to go.
It irons really well.
The steam function is also super powerful and effective. It handles even the deepest wrinkles.
If a sheet's dried out in the sun or is super wrinkled, ironing with steam fixes it 100%.
And, of course, another plus is the cordless design. Nothing gets in the way, the cord doesn't tangle. You can iron something right next to a power outlet. Complete freedom of movement.
💨There's vertical steam.
It's a total pleasure to use.
Just set the iron on the stand, and it heats up to max temperature in about 20 seconds. The light turns on, and when it's hot, it turns off. Iron a section of fabric, flip it over, and put the iron back on the stand - it'll heat up again until you're done. 💨The handle has two buttons - steam and mist - for spot-removing wrinkles.
It heats up well and doesn't cool down too quickly, nope. I iron cotton and linen at max temperature, so I need it to stay hot. If you're ironing a t-shirt and shorts, you don't need to reheat it.
I've gotta say, the ceramic surface is a total game-changer. Nothing sticks to it, nothing burns, and it's so smooth to wipe down. Trust me, I've tried other surfaces before, but ceramic is the way to go - it's the most durable by far.
💧Time to give it a good cleaning. I do this regularly with a special cleaning pen.
This thing is a total winner. It's affordable, and it's been a lifesaver in the cleaning department. I'm so glad I picked it up.
For washing and ironing, I've been using:
I'm totally recommending it 👍☑️
