Unfortunately, it's not super easy to browse through the options - there are only a few on each page in expanded format. The models just keep going down the page.
I scrolled down to the compact coffee maker model that I wanted to order - the Distinta. This model stood out to me with its comprehensive feature set and sleek design. In reviews and ratings, it consistently ranked in the top three for home use. Since I only drink coffee in the morning, I didn't want to buy a bulky model, even with the space to spare on my kitchen counter. The price is perfect for a beginner coffee enthusiast who consumes coffee in moderation. I placed my order and paid for it.
I received an email notification that I'd be hearing from the online store's operator soon. They called me almost immediately after I placed and paid for the order. The operator confirmed that they had the right model and color. I confirmed with them.

However, just two days later, I logged back into the site to check on my coffee maker. Guess what? It said that the model I ordered was out of stock. I thought to myself, 'Well, I must be one of those customers who bought the last one in stock, and my order is already on its way to me.'
A few hours later, two days after I placed and paid for my order, I received a call from the online store saying that the product was out of stock. No alternatives were offered. I asked if it would be possible to wait a reasonable amount of time for them to get the exact model I wanted. The customer service rep told me that she didn't have any information on when they'd have the model in stock. Mind. Blown. This is the official website of the manufacturer, after all.
I wasn't planning on waiting months, so I decided to return my money and order the same model on OZON, even though it was more expensive. I filled out the return form as instructed and sent it via email to the online store (I omitted my full name, but made some minor corrections to the form while I was at it). And, I received a response.
And to make matters worse, the official DELONGHI online store takes prepayment before even confirming the availability of the product, and I'm still waiting to hear back about the handwriting competition I entered.
DELONGHI really dropped the ball when it came to stocking their products. I ordered a bronze-colored coffee maker, but it was nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, the price on OZON dropped by more than 50% - even for the black model that costs 10,990 rubles on the DELONGHI website. It's pretty absurd, as you can see from the photo above, and the 'obvious' 50% discount is laughable.
I'm still waiting to hear back from DELONGHI about a refund. I ordered the black coffee maker from their website because I was fed up with the situation.
