Home Time Fixed Price Scissors

I've been using these Home Time Fixed Price Scissors for a while now, and I'm consistently impressed with how they get the job done. The build quality is solid, and the battery life is longer than I expected - no more worrying about running out of juice mid-cut. Whether you're a DIY enthusiast or just a busy homeowner, these scissors are a reliable choice for everyday use.

A Decent Pair of Scissors for Occasional Use

summarizeEditor's Summary

I recently picked up these scissors from China, designed for cutting paper, cardboard, and fabric. The model number is EPS8623-A. They're pretty long and fairly sharp, doing the job just fine when cutting paper. However, they're extremely flimsy, and when I first picked them up, I found a few bent ones on the shelf. That being said, I'm more than happy with the price - just 50 rubles. If you need to use scissors frequently, these aren't the best choice, as they're quite stiff and flimsy, with a build quality that's surprisingly good, but inconsistent.

A Decent Pair of Scissors for Occasional Use
I recently picked up these scissors from China, designed for cutting paper, cardboard, and fabric. The model number is EPS8623-A.
They're pretty long and fairly sharp, doing the job just fine when cutting paper. However, they're extremely flimsy, and when I first picked them up, I found a few bent ones on the shelf. That being said, I'm more than happy with the price - just 50 rubles.
If you need to use scissors frequently, these aren't the best choice, as they're quite stiff (you can't check this when buying, as they're tightly wrapped in packaging) and flimsy. But if you just want something to have at home for occasional use, like cutting paper or cardboard, they'll do the job.
They cut paper well. To be honest, the value for money is pretty normal, and they won't go amiss in the household. Plus, for the price, it's not like you'll be heartbroken if you need to toss them.
I've updated my review after using them for a while - the handle started to loosen after a few days of moderate use (cutting paper). To be honest, I'm not impressed with the build quality. It's worth spending a bit more for something more reliable.
I replaced them with the same model, and the replacement ones were better - they didn't break and weren't as stiff.
One thing I've noticed is that they're not ideal for heavy use. They're great for occasional tasks, but if you need to cut a lot of things, you might want to look elsewhere.
As for the sharpness, immediately after buying, it was tough to cut a thread (that's a test for sharpness) - they'd just tear it, and the cut would be uneven and rough. But recently, I sharpened them on a belt sander, and now they're cutting like new - threads, no problem! These scissors are great, light, and sharp.
As of now, the price has gone up.
One thing I've noticed is that they don't rust.
These scissors are a mixed bag - they're cheap, but flimsy and not ideal for frequent use. However, for occasional use, they'll get the job done.
If you're looking for a reliable pair of scissors, I'd recommend spending a bit more. But if you're on a tight budget and just need something for occasional use, these might be worth considering.
Just be aware of the potential issues with flimsiness and stiffness, and don't be afraid to sharpen them if needed.
