Darling Lash Cocoon Mascara: A Total Letdown

Specifications
Hello!
I was browsing through Za and stumbled upon the Darling Lash Cocoon Natural lash effect 38℃ water-washable mascara at an amazing discount. I'm familiar with the brand, and their products have always worked well for me, so I thought I'd give it a try, especially since it was only 300 rubles. I'm a huge fan of lash telescopic mascaras, but I'm always up for trying something new.

GENERAL INFO
Darling Lash Cocoon Natural lash effect 38℃ water-washable mascaraSouth Koreawhere I bought it - Zaprice 833 rubles with a discount at the time of writing this reviewshelf life after opening - 6 months
PACKAGING
The mascara comes in a soft plastic pouch, which serves as a tamper-evident seal. Inside, you'll find the standard mascara tube, which is silver in color. Everything is well-made, and after six months, there are no scratches or faded letters.
THE BRUSH
The good thing about this brush is that it's soft and doesn't scratch the lash line, unlike silicone brushes. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end for me, as I've never been able to get a great coat with this type of brush, regardless of the brand - Darling or anyone else.

TEXTURE
At first, the mascara didn't do much of anything. I mean, it was like applying a gel lash effect, but not even that. As the product dried, the color started to come through more intensely.

MY IMPRESSIONS
Initial data:
my lashes are sparsenot too longtips are slightly lightermy eyelid is hooded, and mascara tends to smudge at the end of the daywhen my eyelid droops, my lashes sag, and I don't get that wide-eyed lookMy expectations:
easy water removalseparated, neatly coated lashesvolumelongevityno smudging or stainingManufacturer's promises:
I've gotta say, your waterproof mascara is a total game-changer. It coats each lash in a soft, protective layer that can withstand anything life throws at it - from sweat to tears to a dip in the pool. My eyes still looked amazing even after a swim!
The only thing that can get rid of it is hot water over 38°C, and even then, it's not like it's going to melt off or anything. I'm seriously impressed.
And the result is:
removal. Yeah, it's really great. I just soaked it in warm water, a few finger movements downwards, and it's done. No smudges under the eyes, no messing around with micellar water, cotton pads, and brushes. In terms of removal - it's super! I just wiped it clean with water:And that's the result:As for lash and eye expression - in my case, it's a total zero. I already have pretty short, sparse, and not very voluminous lashes. They need lengthening and volume, but in this case, it's all missed. The expression in my eyes is also non-existent, just very poorly pigmented lashes. Photo before mascara:One coat:Two coats:longevity. It might sound weird, but the longevity isn't perfect either. I went out on a cold, windy day, and the wind blew tears into my eyes. And with them, my lashes went too. Tears ruin the mascara, and it comes off in those pesky clumps. Oh well. Although the idea is great, theoretically - the mascara is perfect.imprints. And here's the biggest letdown - the mascara leaves imprints on both the upper and lower eyelids, and it's really noticeable! Check it out, like I was crying:thermotush darling reviewsAnd here's another time:
How to remove waterproof mascaraHere's a photo from work, and you can already see the smudges under my eyes: And the worst part is, trying to get rid of it with just some basic tools (like a cotton swab, for example) is basically impossible. So, you're stuck with these smudges all day, or you have to carry around a micellar water that doesn't even work that well.
So, the bottom line is...
I wouldn't recommend the Darling waterproof mascara. The idea is great - it's super convenient to just wipe it off with water - but in terms of staying power, it's just not for me. The smudges are a total bummer, and it just looks too natural. I mean, where's the drama?
No way, I'm not buying it again.
Two stars from me.
