Editor's Summary
I dropped by DaPino last weekend and saw a bunch of kids turning dough into their own mini pizzas—seriously, it feels like a tiny cooking school for the little ones. The vibe is laid‑back, the staff are super friendly, and the whole thing is completely free, which you don’t see often in Moscow. The hands‑on fun keeps the kids busy for hours, and the pizza that comes out of the oven actually tastes pretty good. If you’re after a cheap, family‑friendly activity that’s both fun and tasty, give this a shot.

Hey friends, hi there!
I’m still on a mission to point you toward the best kid‑friendly spots in Moscow for the summer holidays.
Today I want to tell you about the free pizza‑making workshops DaPino runs.
DaPino markets itself as a family‑style Italian restaurant. There are only four locations in Moscow, and I’ve pulled the addresses into blockquotes for you.

Bolshaya Bronnaya St., 23, bldg. 1 – +7 (495) 740-40-90; +7 (495) 790-71-27
Volgogradsky Prospect, 73, bldg. 1 – +7 (495) 510-04-76; +7 (499) 177-53-10
Delegatskaya St., 7, bldg. 1 (in the park) – +7 (495) 650-18-58; +7 (495) 650-21-39
Each DaPino spot runs its own weekend program. For example, the Novoslobodskaya location offered this lineup in July 2016:

Just give them a call, register your kid, and you’re set.
We went with my daughter in June for the “sweet pizza” class. I signed up on Wednesday, got a callback on Friday to confirm, and was told what time to show up. Because a lot of families are interested, they split kids into groups and assign specific time slots to keep things from getting crowded.
Here’s how it went. We arrived at the appointed time and were led to a table. They asked us to wait ten minutes since the previous group hadn’t finished yet. To keep my daughter busy, they handed us colored pencils and an activity sheet.
By the way, there’s a friendly animator girl in the dining area who keeps the kids entertained while they wait.
When our slot started, every kid got a chef’s hat and an apron.
All the kids gathered around a big table. Shorter kids got a small stool. Each little chef received a piece of dough and a rolling pin. Then the head chef walked us through each step, showing us exactly how to handle the dough.
Making the pizza felt relaxed and fun.
The whole thing took about half an hour.
After the kids assembled their pizzas and toppings, the creations went into the oven.
In roughly ten minutes the pies were ready. Each child could eat their own slice and share with family at the table.
We left the workshop happy and already plan to try the other classes.
Finding kid‑friendly activities is a headache for many parents. I hope my review helps you have a fun time with your little one.
