Kukmara Non-Stick Pancake Griddle with Marmoreal Coating and Detachable Handle

I've been using this Kukmara pancake griddle for a while now, and it's been a total game-changer. The non-stick marmoreal coating makes food release a breeze - no more stuck-on messes or scrubbing for hours. The detachable handle is a genius idea, especially when it's time to store it in a crowded kitchen. It's perfect for whipping up fluffy pancakes, scrambled eggs, or even searing a steak. The build quality is seriously impressive, and the design makes it a cinch to clean. Whether you're a busy parent or a culinary enthusiast, this griddle is a great addition to your kitchen - it's definitely worth the investment.

I've tried various non-wheat flours, and the key to success is having a decent pan that won't stick to the batter. One thing I appreciate is how evenly the skillet heats - my pancakes cook consistently every time. The non-stick coating is top-notch, and my pancakes slide out effortlessly. The handle is comfortable to hold, even when the pan is hot. The skillet is lightweight, making it easy to maneuver. Cleaning is a breeze, and I've never had any issues with food residue. The price is incredibly reasonable, especially considering the quality.

I'm a total pancake enthusiast, and I've got a confession to make - I love treating my loved ones to delicious, fluffy blini. It's the perfect breakfast, no one complains, and everyone leaves the table satisfied. The only catch is that I've had to switch to non-wheat flours like almond, coconut, linseed, cedar, and cherry, which work surprisingly well for making pancakes. The key is having a decent pan that won't stick to the batter.
I was thrilled to discover my go-to cookware brand, Kukmara, had the perfect pan for the job. I've got a bunch of their kitchenware already, and I'm always on the lookout for new items to add to my collection.
I opted for a 20cm pan, which is perfect for making a batch of pancakes for my family.Quick rundown on the pan
Where to buy: You can pick it up on various marketplaces - I got mine on Vb.
Price: I paid 1200 rubles at the time of purchase, which I think is a great value for the quality of the pan.
Packaging
The pan arrived in a cardboard box with the brand's logo. The sides of the box had all the product info, including what it's made of, which I appreciate.
Material:
Metal; aluminum
Inner coating:
Stone; polymer; ceramic
Pan specs:Wall thickness: 4.5mm
Bottom thickness: 6mm
Diameter: 18cm
Height: 2.6cm
Inside the box, I found the skillet wrapped in plastic, a bakelite handle, and a user manual for the skillet. The user manual had some useful tips on how to care for the pan, which I appreciated.
Be aware - the lid is NOT included in the package, which was a bit of a bummer.
There's some useful information on the attached user manual, like what to do before cooking for the first time, and tips on not exposing the skillet to extreme temperature changes. You shouldn't put it under cold water right after cooking, and you shouldn't take it out of the fridge and put it on the stovetop.
The skillet's bottom is smooth and easy to clean. It sits stably on the stovetop and doesn't move around.
One more thing about the handle - when assembling it, you need to press the button and press it firmly in place. If you plan to use this skillet in the oven, keep in mind that you'll need to detach the handle, or it might melt under the high temperature.First use
I was recommended to apply some oil to the skillet before the first use, which I do with a silicone brush, and then I wash it with a soft sponge and a mild detergent. After that, I dry the skillet thoroughly.
Using it
I'm really glad I can talk about using this pan now. The first thing I noticed is how light it is. It's a breeze to lift, and my hand doesn't get tired at all. When making pancakes, this is a big deal!
Cooking on it is a total pleasure. This pancake pan is top-notch. The non-stick coating is flawless.
The manufacturer says:
Introducing our fantastic pancake pan with a non-stick coating from brand Kukmara. The protective coating is safe for your health and has increased durability, made from minerals close in hardness to stone, marble, ensuring a long lifespan.
Before cooking, I lightly grease the pan with some oil (you don't have to, but it's my usual procedure). All my pancakes turn out great. With wheat flour, I don't have to worry about a thing.
pancakes made with wheat flourI was curious to see how the pan would handle cooking specific pancakes. It turns out, almond flour worked best. I make one batch of these little pancakes (2 eggs, 40 grams of flour, 40 ml of water, a packet of sugar substitute). The almond pancakes cook perfectly. They give off a nice nutty aroma, and nothing sticks to the pan.
pancakes made with almond flourMy family loves pancakes with jam, sour cream, or Nutella. As for my healthy pancakes, I eat them with low-fat yogurt and frozen bilberry puree.
Pancakes made with chokecherry flour were a wild experience. They cooked just fine, but the color made it tough to tell when the batter was perfect for flipping. Plus, I was really disappointed with the taste. The chokecherry flavor was way too overpowering. Pancakes made with coconut flour were another weird experience. When it absorbs liquid, it becomes super thick and gooey. If you add too much water, it'll bubble up on the pan, so you have to use a spatula to spread it out. But they cooked just fine and didn't burn. The best part? They flipped like a breeze! After making pancakes, I let the pan cool down completely before washing it. I don't touch it until it's no longer hot. Once it's cooled, I use a soft sponge and some Feril to clean it.
So there you have it
The Kukmara pancake pan is a total rockstar. It cooks pancakes evenly, quickly, and they come out with zero stickiness. Making them is a total blast – especially when you've got a good movie playing in the background.
I'm seriously impressed with this pan - it's flawless! With Maslenitsa just around the corner, I'll be whipping up blini all week, and this pan is going to be my go-to. It's the perfect size for making a batch of pancakes for my family, and the non-stick coating is flawless.
