Our Colt Has Been a Total Rockstar - Here's Why We Love It

summarizeEditor's Summary

We've been loving our right-hand drive Colt with an Arabic build for 10 years now. It's a comfy car that's thought out to the last detail, with a pleasant surprise in its build quality. The variator gearbox is super convenient, and we've had our fair share of minor repairs, but parts are easy to find and not too pricey. It's a reliable car that's handled beautifully on our road trips.

We've been absolutely loving our right-hand drive Colt with an Arabic build. It's been a total game-changer for us, and we're not surprised - it's a really comfy car with everything thought out to the last detail.
This little car has been a dream to drive - it's quick, agile, and reliable. We've been driving it for 10 years now, and it's never let us down, just a few minor repairs here and there for oil and gas changes. And when we do need to fix something, parts are easy to find and not too pricey. The fuel efficiency is amazing, around 8-9 liters per 100km. We've got a variator gearbox, which is super convenient. I'm not a fan of robot gearboxes, though - they say they're more prone to breaking down and expensive to fix.
The engine's got plenty of power, and we took it on a road trip last summer, cruising along toll roads at a steady 130km/h. It handled beautifully, and we didn't feel any strain on the engine.
It's got great dimensions, making it super easy to park and maneuver. We can squeeze into tight spots where other cars can't fit - it's a real bonus when you're trying to find a parking spot.
The interior's spacious, despite the car being compact. And the boot's got plenty of room, too - we can fold down the rear seats to carry loads. However, we can only fit two child seats and a booster on the back seats - no three seats will fit. We had to get a narrower booster to make it work. Our kid's a bit disappointed about the missing seat, so we're on the lookout for a new car with more space.
Everything works perfectly, from the aircon to the heater and rear window defroster. We love this car, and we're not planning to sell it - not even with four kids and us all trying to squeeze in. It's a great second car, and we're so glad we've got it.
The body's not rusting, and the anti-corrosion coating's top-notch.
We do have to be careful, though - the low ground clearance's given us a few close calls where we've scraped the underside. Friends have taken their cars off-road, but we can't - our car's not designed for that kind of terrain. But that's the only major drawback.
We'd highly recommend this car to anyone looking for a reliable ride!
